It's a collapse in the sense that this team was in the Super Bowl 3 years ago, and still came close to making it again 2 years ago. Then everything they felt about Bad Harbaugh came open and they didn't even try to hide it, and then everything snowballed over the course of a year

Pretty much how I feel.

I know windows are small but our core players are still intact and we had one of the better coaches in the NFL. Then everything came to a screeching halt last year. What's funny is that we had ~3 games we just gave away. That's the difference between a 8-8 and 11-5 record.

We would not have done shit in the playoffs, but it would've been nice to make it back.

It really hurts as a fan. It's why I respect the shit out of fans of franchises that have been less fortunate through the years. It's hard.

This is the worst offseason I've endured as a fan, I can't even begin to imagine a worse scenario/situation.

I said our ceiling was 6 wins this year - I'd be surprised if we get 2 now.
