So a player has to be on house arrest during rehab or else he doesn't show commitment?

I guess players like Barkley and Jordan weren't really great cause they gambled like fiends.

Pretty big difference between me going to the casino and me going to the casino when I called in sick to work.

Absurd comparison. If he missed the game for a cold then you would have a point. Late stage rehab on a knee does prevent you from playing one of the most violent and physical sports on the planet, but it doesn't prevent you from walking to a chair to play some blackjack. Or is your point that he didn't fly with the team?

Sure, but also to compare to Manziel is overreacting. Clowney may have a commitment problem, but this is not evidence of that in my opinion.

Manziel had a substance abuse problem with both alchohol and cocaine at a minimum, and a pattern of self-destructive behavior. The only rumors about Clowney is that he might be lazy.

Lazy being a relative term, to make the NFL as the number 1 draft pick you are an incredibly driven man, but just at that high level every one is more than incredibly driven.

clowney appears to be one of the biggest busts in recent memory (so far to this point in this career)
