My first thought was the exact same as Dirtbag's. :lol

McDaniels has got to be up there as one of the worst coaches of all time. I mean why on Earth would anyone trade Hillis? Even as a Steelers fan I am a fan of his game. He is Bettis 2.0 (and to be honest probably a superior version). If the Browns ever get their shit together Hillis is going to make things so much easier for whatever qb they have (probably Colt). A beast like that can pretty much always get 2 yards and beats the shit out of defensive backs and linebackers.

There are rumblings that Hillis hit on McDaniels' wife. It's the only thing that makes sense, unless you buy the "white running back" theory.

honestly the bears offensive line has the most problems with speed rushers and blitzes from the outside be it from CBs, safeties, or LBs. i think we can keep cutler upright on sunday with our more conservative offense. i think we see another solid game from forte, and cutler will be efficient. suh's a beast but i think kreutz and company can do the job in this game.

and regarding that week 1 game, i doubt we turn the ball over 4 times again, i believe 3 of the turnovers were in the redzone or just outside it. 1 int by cutler, 1 fumble by forte, and 1 fumble by olsen. we could have scored a ton more points in that game, but we played sloppy as hell.

if we lose on sunday, we can forget about the playoffs, and get back on board with firing lovie and company.
That week 1 game wasn't nearly as close as the score. I think the Lions gained all -10 offensive yards in the 2nd half, right up until that final drive leading up to the TD non-catch by Megatron.

If we had Stafford I'd say we were golden... but we don't.

Coach Mike Singletary acknowledged Tuesday that Brian Westbrook's 23-carry workload in Monday night's game is too much ask for on a weekly basis.

"Because of the past history with Brian, some of the injuries, it's smart for us to be careful about how we use him," said Singletary. "He's a talented guy, but we want to be smart about that."

:lol now Cortland Innegan's agent is getting in on the Cortland is the victim here game

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.co...-out-regarding-crticism-of-cortland-finnegan/

Specially love the part at the end where he claims Andre Johnson has done nothing against Finnegan in 9 games.

:lol another article that's outdated. Cant you find something more recent?
Having your agent talk shit for you after getting your ass whupped on national tv is like having your mom go to the school to confront the bully who jacked your lunch money. Innegan is a bitch, and apparently is content to remain one.

I'm in agreement. Won't be able to open this at work until we get past this page now. I mean I could but I already got questioned about the large size version of EBAs avatar posted on page 2 I think. I'm stuck actually doing work now. :|

The Gruden to the University of Miami rumbling is heating up again.

http://www.miamiherald.com/2010/12/01/1951021/gruden-shows-interest-as-um-tries.html

The University of Miami remained in strong pursuit of Jon Gruden on Tuesday, hoping to lure the former Super Bowl-winning coach to head up the Hurricanes' football program.

UM athletic director Kirby Hocutt traveled to Tampa to meet with Gruden, a meeting expected to take place Wednesday. Hocutt went there to gauge the level of Gruden's interest, according to a high-level UM source.

Another UM official said Gruden declined overtures from UM initially, but has begun to show some interest and suggested to Hocutt he is considering the job. But UM isn't sure about whether he would take it if offered. Hocutt wants to determine that Wednesday.

I'm not going to NBA-Age but how about them Knicks?? :D I hope that they don't get Carmelo and end up with CP3 if they end up trading pieces. The only issue would be that we'd trade a lot of pieces including Fields and Felton has been playing so well. Should threaten for the playoffs this year at around .500. Next year will be fun if Turiaf agrees on his player option.

He's the wrong fit for The U. Besides I dont really see Gruden even wanting to coach college football. Usually when you see these kinds of reports floating out there it is because somebody is ready to coach and wants to get the word out there that they are available. If there is anything to this it is just Gruden and his agent getting the word out before the season is over and the coach firing apocalypse of this off season begins.

It isn't like Gruden himself can say anything without having to answer where he would like to coach. It would be pretty low class to talk about where you would coach when that team still has a coach right now.

Wow what a spin job. Would love to have that dude as my agent.

How's he the wrong fit for the U? He's known as a rah-rah coach that's soft with the discipline. Plus he loves crazy offensive systems. I know he spent a lot of time down in Florida and up in Oregon learning about the spread/spread option/blur over the last few years.

Some overall good news for Giants fans from today's presser with Coughlin:

- David Diehl will be doing individual drills today and will also take some snaps with the team to determine his status.
- Shaun O'Hara will be doing some running today and possibly some individuals moving forward.
- Steve Smith has pads on but will not practice. Should be doing some drills though. Coughlin won't say if he plays this weekend or not. Smith is saying he will not though and is still hoping to return for the Vikings.
- Brandon Jacobs remains the starter though Coughlin said "Bradshaw is very much in the hunt".
- Aaron Ross has a back strain which was causing the abdominal pain he was experiencing. He is expected to practice.
- Shawn Andrews is "not ready" according to Coughlin. They don't want to push him and want to make sure that he is completely pain free before returning.

Turiaf exercising his option is a pretty safe bet. A) Who would give him more than 4.5 million next season? B) With a lockout looming, pretty much anybody with an option is going to pick it up.

And Knicks-Age has a pretty good presence. You'd be fine in NBA-GAF.

I think Gruden is using the Miami offer as leverage to get a NFL job. I still see him going to Cleveland. Maybe Denver.

hopefully the gaints het 2 of the 3 OL men back this week.
Depending on what the eagles do Thursday might force some of these guys back on Sunday though.

I don't see Mangini getting fired after this season. They seem to be playing better.

Mangini has been doing a good job with Cleveland. Next year they will win their division.

How long will Cincinnati keep the current staff? How long will Carolina keep their current staff? Along with SF 49ers, I can see at least 3 openings for sure.
Frazier may keep his position at the Vikings if they keep doing well the rest of the games. Buffalo seems to have faith in Chan Gailey. Denver is a "who knows what they are thinking" team.
Which teams will lose OC's or DC's to a head coaching position?

John Fox's contract is up after this year. He'll get a good job somewhere; management clearly gave up on this season completely.

Cincinnati's problems go beyond the coaching staff. They're famously frugal with their resources. The scouting department is practically all family members and the smallest in the league. Zimmer's a good DC, but we'll see where he winds up.

CBA uncertainty will make it tough for owners to stomach hiring a big name. Promoting from within makes the most sense, at least for the short term.

Mike Mayock is breaking down how shitty Kemoueatu and Foster have been for the Steelers on the o-line.

A comedy of errors.
