Frickin' last game could've just easily turned the other way if the ball happens to bounce to Gronk. Giants made one more play than the Patriots - either Eli's incredible throw to Manningham on the sideline or Helmetcatch.

We're a matchup nightmare for the Patriots, and matchups matter. Our defensive line is too athletic for the Pats individually, so even when we're not speeding up Brady's internal clock, we're forcing TEs and RBs to remain in as additional blockers... against four guys. With that, we park our safeties in a two deep shell, flood the short routes with zone or tight man coverage, and ta da.

It wasn't until Victor Cruz's emergence that the Giants offense also became a bad matchup for the Pats.
