Pimpwerx said:My bitterness aside, there's the Vick doubters. How many people said the same exact thing about McNabb when he was struggling with a corps of worthless receivers and a shitty O-Line? He gets pretty much one guy in TO and now he's unstoppable. Vick lead that team to the NFC championship a couple years ago in his first full season as a starter, and it wasn't a fluke. They are embarassingly bad without him. His backup may have posted nicer numbers in the preseason, but Vick's got the intangibles down...he can win games. Look at them now. Not impressive numbers at all, but they're a 5-1 team. Lots ot teams would like to have a record like that with a QB who hasn't fully adjusted to the system. I think people are right, they need to let him loose again. He may get hurt, but he's just as likely to get hurt in the pocket if one of his blocks breaks down. IMO, letting him run is better b/c most of the tackles will be coming from in front of him, in his field of view. Forcing him to stay to the pocket will allow him to be blindsided more often. Vick's whole style is based on his mobility. He can throw well on the run, just like McNabb, and he's a much greater running threat. Price probably padded his numbers in Buffalo thanks to Moulds being on the other side of the field. He's not that great. Can't seem to get himself open often enough. Give Vick a TO or Moss or someone of that caliber and he's gonna light up the scoreboard on anyone. I think Vick's getting the same stick that McNabb got, and that he'll be vindicated in the same way. They're both big playmakers, and with a proper receiving threat, they are hard to stop. The Falcon's D has stepped up big time, which means all they need to fix now is that O. Whoops, I bet I'm giving them the touch of death now. Watch Priest trample them this weekend now. :lol PEACE.
I agree with just about everything you said...
