Don't worry the Jets can go back to their pop warner schedule next week. Watch out Dolphins!

:lol @ the Cowgirls some more. Quincy Morgan just went out holding the back of his leg. Looks like the Browns knew something about him that the Cowgirls didn't.

Bwuahaha NY sports got stomped this week.

Yankees: Reason to pick up more players in the offseason. Seeing Carlos Beltran and a higher possibility of Johnson as Yankees will be worth not winning for 1 more year. If the RedSox do win the WS, that will put a damper on things, otherwise it's all good.

Jets: 5-1

Giants: 4-2

Better than most States. People keep saying Red Sox and Patriots, but that's bs. If you're a Patriot fan, then you suck because you're state doesn't have a Baseball team, and if you're a Redsox fan, you suck in general, but you suck even more because you're state doesn't have an NFL team.

Breaking news: Patriots and Red Sox both play in Mass.

Patriots would actually be in South Boston if the jerks there allowed a stadium to be built.

No I think the Cardnals are worse, unless the Rams played the Bengels.

There are no Tri-State teams, and there should be no New England teams. They aren't called the Boston Patriots, so you can't say that Boston had an incredible week (only the Redsox did anything).

The location where you play doesn't matter, it's all in the name.
Teams wiith New York in the name >>>> Teams with any other state (in most occasions).

Oh well. The Jets did play really well, but jst got beat in the end. If only Sowell didn't cough up that ball on their first drive. That really was the difference in the game. The Jets have nothing to be ashamed of. If anything, this week showed that they CAN play on the level of the top shelf teams. It was basically one mistake that made the difference between the Jets and the Pats. Otherwise, the Jets' defense held together quite well, and their offense looked great for much of the game. They just couldn't produce points.

Regardless, the Jets get a couple nice and easy weeks coming up, so we should able to keep pace. :D

Last time i checked, the Giants and Jets played in NJ

your reasoning is flawed. and your teams all got spanked this week, so i can understand your fuzzy thinking atm.

No way the Cards are worse than the Phins, aside from an ok defense the Phins are fuckin awful.

Ok defense? They're one of the best in the league, top 3. Too bad the offense just reaks.

The Vick express is off and running.

All you people who gave me shit for saying Vick can't throw an accurate deep ball can eat my ass. I know you saw him overthrow wide open Alge Crumpler in the endzone. There are probably 25 starting quarterbacks in the league that could've easily made that pass. Not that it would change the final outcome of the game, but it does prove my point.

things we learned this week:

- Falcons: Flukes
- Panthers: Flukes
- Rams: Flukes
- Seachickens: Flukes
- Jets: Flukes

losers! ALL LOSERS! if you are a fan for these teams i feel sorry for you, because your team(s) wont be in the playoffs! here is what we also learned:

- 49ers: Cannot lose in a bye week

we get back into the race next week ladies! 2-5 here we come, only 2.5 games out of first! don't hurt 'em too bad Rat!

Uhhh, that throw wasn't off. Crumpler should have made the catch.

Yeah, the Jets are flukes cause they lost by 6 to the best team in the league. Also, the Falcons ARE going to the playoffs, because the NFC South is pathetic.

You had me till there. They lost a close game to the Pats. The Pats are freaking unbeatable right now. Calling them flukes after this loss isn't right.

Panthers are not flukes. Try having a team that has it's best offensive players and best defensive player out, along with what has got to be the shittiest offensive line in the leauge and end up winning more than 5 or 6. This year's a loss. I wouldn't mind if we threw every game just to get a top 3 pick and get 11 or 12 wins next year with a healthy team.

intangibles, motherfucker
I was just watching highlights of the colts game on ESPN. On they last play they just kept on moving it foward and it was like they were hoping that the ref's would not see. I was laughing for at least 5 minutes. Someone needs to capture that and put it online.

Also, while watching NFL Primetime, what was going on between Petyon and Reggie Wayne? Little shoving match; cause for concern?

I noticed that too. Petyon and Wayne are "good guys" so it will be ignored. Nice to see Keyshawn blowing up on the sideline too. I wonder how long before he gets cut again.

Not to mention that the Jets played the Patriots very well. And they are going to be in the playoffs because, given how easy their schedule is, it's highly likely that they could get through this season perhaps with 5 losses or less.

Manning had all his WRs there and he was talking to all of them...my first thought was they were just pumping each other up. That's what it looked like to me. No one there tried seperating them or anything...so I really think that's what it was.

Uhh, no it was in front of him. He could've made a super awesome one handed grab out of the air but he's a tight end. A top tier tight end, yes, but still a tight end. If Vick knew how to put touch on a ball that was a TD.

I called it 2 weeks ago and I am going to say it again. Pats are going to lose their first of many losses this season starting next week in Pittsburgh. Big Ben as a rookie is going to do what so many seasoned vets could not, beat the Patriots.

When it happens don't act surprised. :D

Awww FMT, you still bitter over yall Week 1 loss? ;) Seriously though, one bad(although very bad) game and we are flukes? You know we are making the playoffs, just look at our division and our schedule. ;)

That was more then one bad loss. Falcons might make the playoffs, but good teams don't lose by a margine like that. Hell, AVERAGE teams don't lose by that much.

Teams have lost by margins like that and still went far in the playoffs.

Maybe so, but this Falcon won't be one of them. No respectable defense gives up 8 rushing touchdowns in a game.

Patriots suffered a 30-0 loss last year. One game, good or bad, doesn't mean as much as everyone wants to think.

Who did the Pats lose to 30-0 last year? Was that the Redskins game?

True, in 1989 the Steelers lost their first game 51-0 and their second game 41-10. But they went on to make the playoffs, eliminated the Oilers in OT in the wild card game and pushed the Broncos to the brink in the divisional game before yet another Elway comeback won it 24-23 for the Broncos.

The thing about those beatings and New England's 31-0 drubbing, was that they came at the very beginning of the season. It's a little troubling for that kind of loss in late October. Not damning, but troubling.

Yeah, it was the Bills, but they also avenged it by beating them 30-0 in the rematch.
