Konex2k4: lol
Konex2k4: texans have ZERO chance
Konex2k4: print that!

That + Texans being +650

:lol
Not even konex's unholy powers can keep the Giants from destroying the texans.

FMT i want to take back our bet so bad, i just have this weird feeling. but i'm gonna stick with it!

This is the Niners Red Fog Week.

I dunno, at some point his self awareness will kill it. It's likely only his actual spoken impulse that the game goes the opposite of.

Nothing like giving juice to a game that could have been the most boring game of the year. Now I actually have reason to watch it.

Any time the Giants are mentioned I am glued to the TV. You are a sad excuse for a Giants fan if you think that you need added juice.

Also, you better hope that the Konex curse fails...

You're going to be out some $$$ and your Viking buddy Slo will be sporting a sexy Alex Smith avatar for the next 7 Days..

Niners FTW!

Oh geez, write up a game review and study for an exam and listen to the game on radio, or watch the Giants destroy a backup QB and an inferior team on TV? Decisions, decisions... Giants already destroyed the Bucs in a trap game, they have learned their lesson.

BTW, questioning my Giants fandom??? Don't go there, seriously. You actually doubt the G-Men will beat the Texans. THE TEXANS!!!!

You would too if you knew your team at all.

AWWW HEELLLLL NAAWWW....

I know my history, pal. I know what happened the last time the Giants faced the Texans. If you hadn't noticed, Kerry Collins (though decent back then) isn't the QB. Thomas Lewis isn't at WR, and Philippi Sparks isn't at CB . . . thought that may be an improvement. This is the BALLIN' Giants, and they playing in NEW YORK. I know their record in trap games isn't good, but I also have the sense God gave me. You think Tiki Barber, Michael Strahan and Antonio Pierce will allow the Giants to lose this game? If you lack confidence in the team after the streak we've seen them put together recently, maybe you're not the Giants fan I thought you were . . . I apologize for that.

I did this ridiculous crap to test everyone's reaction to this thing to see if people really believed this crap, or if most of the people are just playing. I'm stunned to see the results. I mean damn people, can't you find another reason besides Konex? Like the A's suck in the playoffs? T-Mac being a fragile jump-shooting player who doesn't take it to the hoop enough? The Iggles batting injuries, and one-dimensional coaching on both sides of the field? Come on. The Gods probably cursed your teams for you doubting them, and if the Giants actually lose I'm looking at the team first, then you.

Does anyone want to put their avatar on the line for the Bengals/Ravens game? Shantyman won't leave me alone until I bet someone that the Bengals will win. DarienA?

Em, i see you picked up Andrew Walter to start tommorow.. Since you're a fellow Bulls fan, I'll cut you a good deal on either Tony Romo or Matt Leinart.. make me an offer.

TOO LATE.

You realize this is a team without Osi and Tuck right? Cutting our usual 4 DE rotation 2 two. I'm sure you also know that Madison is also still out for this game, you know, the guy that we brought in for the Andre Johnson's of the world (decent #1 receivers). Oh, and on top of that, Eli's security blanket, Plax, is questionable for tomorrow too. The deck is already getting to be a bit more stacked than I want it to be against us.

DId they play in NEW YORK last year when they lost to Minnesota while only allowing a field goal on defense? What about the Detroit game the year before?

And what of this streak? Only team of note we've beaten is Atlanta. Washington is poop this year, Dallas had both Bledsoe and Romo throwing TD passes to the wrong team, and TB had a rookie QB playing for the first time in the wind conditions that were almost as bad as that Niners/Bears game last year.

I love the Giants and all, but at least I am grounded in reality.

it looks like Terry Glenn is a gametime decision tomorrow. So Santana Moss and Terry Glenn are out. Oh wait. We still have TO and they have ....Brandon Lloyd

We didn't have Osi and Madison last week. "If there's trouble you call" R.W. McQuarters and Sir Mathias Kiwanunka did fine work against a BETTER TEAM than the one they face tomorrow. And I quess you haven't been checking the injury list, Plax has been probable-questionable seemingly the last 3-4 weeks, so I won't be shocked if he's out. I have faith in Amani Toomer, Tim Carter and David Tyree at the WR spot, not to mention Shockey and Tiki in the passing game. And once again this needs to be repeated: "The deck is already getting to be a bit more stacked than I want it to be against us." . . . IT'S THE FRIGGIN TEXANS!!! THEY YAM WHAT I THINK THEY YAM!

I also remember the Giants playing like hot ass that day. I'd still say Minny then is better that the Texans now, and Eli then < Eli now. That last portion is all you need.

Wow . . . now you've lost perspective. I can't follow this up when Woodchuck already said it so nicely.

I love the Giants and all, but at least I am grounded in reality.
. . . But you believe someone else picking the Giants to win means a) they're losing b) a Giant will get seriously hurt - to the point of banning people. Riiiiigggghhhhttttt. If nothing else comes from the game look at the hypocrisy of your own statements, and wallow in shame as a Giants fan.

If the Texans beat the Giants, can I press the ban button Ck?

JUST ONCE!?

:lol

See, us Houston fans stick together, you New Yorkers have too much angst against each other.

I have to get ready for the game. The Wellington Blessing is > the Konex Curse, but very quickly:

Burress had been probable every week up until this week. Looks like you are the one that needs to pay more attention to the injury report.

Last week the Bucs dropped 3 big passes because of the wind. We didn't need our injured players to win, but keep in mind other factors were involved. Also, we are facing a better passing game this week than last, a better pass rush and our #1 CB in there would definitely help.

As much as I love Eli, he is still very schizophrenic. I'd rather have him have a terrible game today than next week, however.

That being the case, I expect a massive dose of this man:

Next Giants game I have tickets to is the Saints game. Damned right I will have a sign ready for BJac.

I was thinking that you made your NFC South picks based on what would benefit the Panthers, but then I see you pick NO to beat Tampa, so it looks like you are just going to pick against us every week no matter what huh?

Just a feeling I have.

Of course you could argue I have that feeling every week ;p

:lol the detroit free press was doing a rundown of games this week and had this to say about the Seattle vs Oakland game tomorrow:
Anyone caught watching this should be forced to wear an "I am an ESPN slappy" T-shirt.

Well, I'm going to the Pittsburgh-Denver game today. Looked like a great one to pick when we got our tickets but now, not so much. Hopefully the Steelers are at least competitive but it could be ugly with Denver's defense.

Oh well, Here we go Steelers here we go!
