A lot of draft scouts are saying that the Missouri QB (Gabbert) who declared today is better than Locker/Mallet/Newton and should go top 7. Really weird that no one's talked about him at all before today and now he's a projected top 10 pick.

Locker = Alex Smith
Cam = Daunte Culpepper
Mallet = skinny JRussel

Yeah, get real Buckethead.
Didn't see his presser talking about taking it personally and all that?

If anyone needs to "get real" it's Rexy and his defense bleeding more yards than the Texans.

His "rah-rah" say something edgy thing is getting old and quick.

gonna enjoy watching pepe put up another 45 against these clowns

the only person i will feel bad about is fatty's wife, poor girl

surprised at the people picking the chiefs....
They can be a dangerous team but our team should be equipped to handle them. We need to shut down the run and make Cassel throw. If Cassel throws about 30 times a game and although our secondary is shaky,we got Ed Reed back there.

We also need our god damn offense to sustain a drive. This can be accomplished easily by just handing the ball off to ray rice. Should be a simple enough game if we keep it simple really. In a world where Cam Cameron is offensive C who knows though.

LET'S DO THIS!!!!!!!!!

Niners plan to interview Marvin Lewis :lol
Apparently, Lewis gave the front office an ultimatum to change the scouting organization and give him more autonomy or he was leaving. He gave it last summer and said he would be leaving at the end of the season. The front office wants to keep everything in the family and turned him down.
He will be a good choice for the 49ers.

Lewis would like the Bengals to upgrade their training facilities and their player personnel department, and he is so adamant on these issues that it is the reason he declined to sign the contract extension offered him before this season.

If Cincinnati is unwilling to budge on these issues -- and there is no indication they Bengals are -- then Lewis will not return to Cincinnati next season and he will become the latest desirable coach on the open market.

Good for him. No coach should have to put up with those conditions.

Any team that doesn't sweep their division relies on other teams to get in.

The Jets needed help late is the point.

I just like making fun of them because they didn't get it done when they controlled their own destiny late in the year and because they are usually overrated.

Looking forward to seeing what Andrew Luck can do tonight. :)

Not looking forward to hearing Jon Gruden slobber over Luck for the next 3 hours. :(

He is a good coach.

58-65-1 with a ton of talent in most years. Defensive genius who until last season had some of the worst defenses in football.

Yeah, dude is great. More felons than wins.

Oh hell no! Not Gruden again!!!

On the plus side, there is a chance that he'll start lobbying for the 9er's job and trash talk Harbro.

EDIT:

No mention of Brent and the massage therapists?

Here we go again!

Brett Favre, who announced his retirement from the National Football League on Sunday, was sued for sexual harassment by two former New York Jets massage therapists, ABC News said on Monday.

ABC said Christina Scavo and Shannon O'Toole filed suit against Favre, the New York Jets and Lisa Ripi, a woman who hires massage therapists for the team
, in the Supreme Court of the State of New York on Monday.

The New York Jets and the National Football League had no comment on the matter, ABC said. ABC said requests for comment from Brett Favre's agent and his former team, the Minnesota Vikings, were not immediately returned.

The suit alleges Favre made unwanted sexual advances to the women and that the team stopped hiring them after they complained.

2011 Atlanta schedule, no times or dates yet.

2011 Regular Season Schedule (Sort Of)

No dates, times, channels, etc. yet, but we know who we'll play. Hey, great! We get to play the Panthers twice! And how awesome is it that one of our division ranking tie-in dealies is with the worst division-winner of all time?

The entire home lineup:

Carolina Panthers
Green Bay Packers
Jacksonville Jaguars
Minnesota Vikings
New Orleans Saints
Philadelphia Eagles
Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Tennessee Titans

And the road slate (as long as Chicago's early, this is darn near beautiful -- roofs and warm sunshine, bros):

Carolina
Chicago Bears
Detroit Lions
Houston Texans
Indianapolis Colts
New Orleans
Seattle Seahawks
Tampa Bay

I'm rooting for a Jets-Seahawks Superbowl. As much as I hate everyone on the Jets and everything about their organization, I'd like to see LT get a ring opposed to Manning, Brady, or Big Ben getting another one. And the Seahawks just cause a 7-9 team in the Superbowl would be epic :lol

What other coach has to deal with the owner undermining him in public?

Marvin Lewis: "We aren't going to give [insert asshole here] another chance."
Mike Brown: "Asshole's coming back!"
Marvin Lewis: SMH

The Cowboys head coach :(

Isn't whats his face pretty much Singletary 2.0?

All discpline-y and jesus-y and such?
I think impressions of Jim are sorta buoyed by John's success up in Baltimore.

Singletary ain't a fair comparison in the last. Unlike Mike Singletary, Jim's at least been a headcoach. Singletary wasn't even a coordinator - he was bumped up from linebackers coach/assistant head coach.

Also, Jim has had success.

That time of year for the playoff fans to come out of the woodwork, I wonder which playoff fan will lead the thread(s) in annoyance. Has Diablos made an appearance yet? Oh wait not SB yet :P

Hmmm if they face the Bills next season theres a chance they could play in Toronto and I get to see MVP play!

Yeah, Marvin Lewis has gotten a raw deal. I don't really like to blame players for a coaches performance but i'll make an exception for Lewis.

Chad is a given, but remember Lewis had to deal with Houshmanzadeh and his mouth has always exceeded his playing ability. He goes and the Bengals get Tank and Pacman. Lewis finally gets everyone under control...in comes T.O., and guess what Palmer sucks now. In addition to ALL of this the Bengals draft for shit.

I took a quick look at who the Steelers are going to play next season as defending champs. All I saw was 8 easy victories named: AFC South and NFC West. :lol :lol :lol :lol :lol
