damn, thought I remembered them going 4-0

We fucked up at the end of the first Ravens game and let them score with like 17 seconds to go or something painfully close to the end of the game :/

Tough non-divisional away games with the Saints in NO and Pats in Foxboro.

Oh I was talking about Marvin Lewis, but then realized I was thinking of Herm Edwards.

My bad.

They all look alike to you.

By they, I, of course, refer to mediocre head coaches.

You really can't blame Branca for laughing at those poor women. Lord Brady the unborn child abandoner is his hero after all.

(S)He didn't abandon shit. Bwady knew (s)he had started hormone treatments well before that kid was born

Keep on deflecting instead of admitting that your team has been a joke off the field this year.

I used to like you.

Osi is scheduled for hip surgery this week. Old injury that kept him limited every Wednesday throughout the season. 2-3 months recovery time.

http://www.nydailynews.com/blogs/giants/2011/01/umenyiora-will-have-hip-surgery

Defensive end Osi Umenyiora knew back in the spring that he’d likely need hip surgery after the season. That surgery will apparently take place later this week.

Umenyiora confirmed that on in a radio interview this evening, and an NFL source said the surgery will likely take place at the Steadman Clinic in Vail, Colo. Umenyiora went there in the spring and was examined by Dr. Marc Philippon, who recommended surgery on his hip flexor back in July.

Umenyiora is expected to need approximately 2-3 months to recover fully from the surgery, meaning he could be ready to resume football activities sometime in March or early April, which would be just in time for the start of the offseason program.

Jet fans everyone more worried about the off the field circus than two consecutive playoff appearances.

Odds on he Super Bowl winner, per Bodog Spors:
If you're not used to reading odds, just think of those numbers as fractions. The Falcons and Steelers are basically 5.5/1, meaning Vegas has about twice as much confidence in them as they do the Eagles, at this point at least. And the Pats are thus expected to pull in something like five times as many bets to win the Super Bowl as the Saints for the time being.
1. New England Patriots: 2/1
2. Atlanta Falcons: 11/2 (tie)
3. Pittsburgh Steelers: 11/2 (tie)
4. New Orleans Saints: 10/1
5. Philadelphia Eagles: 11/1
6. Baltimore Ravens: 12/1 (tie)
7. Chicago Bears: 12/1 (tie)
8. Green Bay Packers: 12/1 (tie)
9. Indianapolis Colts: 14/1
10. New York Jets: 20/1
11. Kansas City Chiefs: 35/1
12. Seattle Seahawks: 100/1

12/1 on the Bears and Colts? That's really not a bad bet.

I'd still put everything on New England, though.

I'd put money down on the Patriots in all seriousness even if it is just 2 to 1.

It really is their Super Bowl to lose.

And it kills me inside.

NO @ SEA - Saints got this one easy

NYJ @ IND - If the Jets can stop the run game of the Colts, too much is on Manning's shoulders

BAL @ KC - Cassel!

GB @ PHI - Gotta go with the Pack. NFC North Pride and all.

Looks like Harson got a Steelers game to go to next year. Bring it on FMT!
I am jealous. I would love watching the Steelers curb stomp the Niners in that nice Cali weather. Half of the stadium is going to be Steeler fans anyways so it will be like a home game.

The Pats are definitely a tough opponent but I don't know why people are handing it off to them already.
They look good but have been stopped this year. There's some solid teams in the AFC that could take them out.

Who knows all it takes is one freak play to change everything.

Sat, Jan 8th
NO @ SEA - Hassleback hurt first play, Bressus slangs a few to many, Whitehurst shows him whats up
NYJ @ IND - Sanchize can't let big Rex down!

Sun, Jan 9th
BAL @ KC - Just saw the Blindside, gotta go with the Ravens now!
GB @ PHI - Packers up by 21 at half, A-God shows up his critics, Vick looks like a lineman against the Packers unmovable defense

Sure, their defense is meh, but they've eviscerated teams on offense since Week 9.

Plus they have homefield advantage, and the Pats haven't lost with Brady at the helm in Foxborough in forever.

the seahawsks have a better chance then the packers beating the eagles, put your fandom aside.
You baked?

Only concern for the Saints should be their banged up backfield. Anyone can run on them.

havent you guys learned anything?

The Seahawks are the worst football team ever to make the playoffs. In any other division in the NFL I'd take the top three teams over them.

And that includes mediocre to bad teams like the Dolphins, Browns, Raiders/Chargers, Detroit, Houston, Cowboys and Tampa.

Looking at the numbers they have a -90 point differential. -90!!!!

The Cardinals in '08 at least had a plus point differential and a HOF QB.

Bionic is going to eviscerate you for forgetting about the Ravens last year.
