Maybe, but you're going to annoy people either way. Had Nintendo released Zelda on time, or had delayed it and not decided to put Revolution controls in it, people would be none the wiser. Now it looks like we get a compromise that isn't going to leave either side fully satisfied (nor will it leave them fully depressed). Releasing TP on GameCube and a brand new Zelda designed around the Revolution gives us both, albeit a bit of a wait for the latter.JJConrad said:I'm sorry for mistating your view. I'll fix it:

If I'm going to playing Zelda on Revolution, I want to be playing a GCN version with backwards compatibility, or I want to be playing one that was made for the Revolution. If they can pull out all the stops and somehow put the same Zelda game on both GCN and Revolution (with fully integrated DPD and a graphical enhancement) I'd be fine with that. If they're just going to tack some minigames or only partially implemented controls onto the GCN version, screw that, get those people working on the next one already.
