It actually happened to someone else near me, thank God. There would have been violence if it had happened to me. But it makes you not want to even bother going to games when the Kings fans are there... which only worsens the problem.
One of them did call my grandma a bitch for clapping after a goal (at home no less) when I was six or seven.

Holy crap I thought you were kidding. I would have been on your side had that happened around me. I've only done one thing negative to opposing fans in all my years going to Kings games. I was totally in the right though.
This kid about 15 years old or so I'd guess is asking his grandpa if you were to rank Crosby on a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being Gretzky what would he be? They argue about it for like 10 minutes kid says, "Hes gotta be like 9.5! Ask anyone!" I retorted "This anyone says 3."

My wife hates that I make fun of the worst player on the Kings no matter the score.
Yelling at Lewis that Scrivens had more points than him at one point last year got more than a few laughs.
I almost exclusively make fun of Brown now, since King and Lewis have finally picked up their games after all these years of being worse than terrible and now that McBain is scratched.
It honestly doesn't take much to pull off good trades in this game, but some weird trades do happen. Like in my game the flyers just traded Simmonds to the sabres for Josh Gorges.
I traded a bunch of 4th liners and 30 year old career AHLers for prospects like Pulkkinen, Ouellet, Marincin, McCabe, Gostisbehere, Andrighetto. Its hilarious.

I'm pretty sure there's been attempts at a hockey-based TV series. Maybe not quite like FNL, though.
One I can remember is Rent-A-Goalie, which I now just found out has shadowkat's boy Stephen Amell.
No American produced ones though right?
Let's be honest, Canada makes some shitty television. Hockey doesn't tie into school the same way football does either, which helps add drama outside of just the games.

Hmmm, but for a couple moves I pulled off early on I've found the GMs to be pretty cagey. Apart from getting Buffalo's 1st for Panik, Frattin and change, and St. Louis for Kozun and Sill* (which I think is due to the cap) I wasn't able to pull off any fleecings at all during the regular season.
*Slather and Vigneault were both fired in February.

I never watched it. That was like during the time Showcase had like Trailer Park Boys, Kenny vs Spenny.
God Trailer Park Boys is so good. The First Three Seasons are God Tier. I wonder how the Netflix Seasons are.
All Canadian productions, yeah. Not to say Canadian productions are terrible, but a lot of it is hit or miss.
This would be pretty awesome. Though, I'd probably prefer a comedy instead.

Hockey is difficult to choreograph/film too don't forget.
I should say that I did most of those prospects trades in the off-season, when their value is only 3 stars opposed to 4 or 5 stars once the hockey season starts and they start racking up points so it is a lot easier to trade for them then.
Do a show about beer leagues. There are a lot of interesting folks in them.
Especially the guys who take this shit way too seriously.
