So Leafs finish 5th last?
Good riddance Leafs
Now win the fucking lottery
I believe so, tied in points with Anaheim but seemed everyone said if they lose they get #5 at worse.
Pretty sure Anaheim has the tiebreaker
Uhm, okay, this is interesting. Both Toronto and Anaheim have same ROW, only 1 game played so head-to-head doesn't count AND they have the same goal differencial (-30). What now?
Just curious, why are Leaf fans so sure Burke will draft a forward? I don't know much about the leafs farm or what they need, Habs farm is stacked on D with barely and decent forwards so it would seem pretty obvious we go that route, but Murray and Dumba are both really impressive guys.Yep, we're fifth. Thank God. Hopefully, Edmonton/New York both choose D-Men and we're set with Galchenyuk. =)
If somehow the lottery ends up with the bottom 5 as they already are.....
1. Yakupov to Columbus
2. Murray to Edmonton
3. Grigorenko to Montreal
4. Galchenyuk to New York
5. Forsberg to Toronto
Is my prediction.
I'm expecting the Islanders to pick a D-man (Dumba any good?)...but then again it is the Islanders so who knows.
From what I've read I wouldn't be surprised to see Dumba go in the top 5, but expect him to go around 6th-7th.I'm expecting the Islanders to pick a D-man (Dumba any good?)...but then again it is the Islanders so who knows.
Grigorenko vs. Galchenyuk for the next 6 years or so...
It will sustain us.

The growth that will divide us. Can't wait.Grigorenko vs. Galchenyuk for the next 6 years or so...

Gotchya, makes sense then, it will be excellent for the rivalry even if both our picks don't play next year.DopeyFish said:Leafs are loaded with D
Blacker has star potential, Holzer is like a gunnarsson clone
With schenn, gardiner, Gunnar, franson, Phaneuf.... We have what we need for a long while yet... Need to shed D
I expect leafs to trade up by dangling franson or something
Oh shit the lottery is this week?!

Regular season highlights?
- Bryz's crazy up and down year
- Jagr's return
- Crosbys return x2
- Florida making the playoffs finally
- Leaf's epic collapse
- Habs historical fucked up season
- Lupul and Cole having career years
- Karlsson exploding this year
- Lucic fucking up Miller and messing up all goal tender interference calls
- Rick Nash fiasco
- Stamkos hitting 60 and Malkin hitting 50
- Winnipegs return
- Detroits home winning record
- Concussions everywhere
That's all I got. Crazy entertaining year regardless of where Habs ended up, can't wait for playoff games and not have mild aneurisms while watching.

@Solo, I'd rather ANY team get the first pick instead of Craplumbus.
As would I. It pains me to think of Yakupov wasting away in Ohio. Id rather ANY of the other 4 lotto teams get him.
Man, how crushing would it be if they get swept after so much waiting?PANTHERS WIN , PANTHERS WIN RAIN RATS AND THE TITLE!!!!!!!
If either Montreal or Toronto were to land the #1 pick.......meltdowns would occur from coast to coast.
Kave_Man caved.
I knew you'd see it my way.
I hope the hockey gods move our pick up. We freakin need it...

Ask Atlanta and Columbus lolMan, how crushing would it be if they get swept after so much waiting?
