Q with his brilliant shell techniques!

Hawks defensemen are so kind to let opposing players stand right in front of crawford and giving them 3 feet of space!

Even listening to the game on the radio is out of my reach tonight. Paint a picture for me NHL-GAF. Perferably something colourful.

Luongo, with his rapier like reflexes, extends his left leg, stretching the finely etched layers of muscle that line his athletic thighs beneath those snow white pads. Sweat glistens on his forehead, as the strain of play pulls at every fibre of his toned body. He whispers a groan as a save is made and the Canucks stay in the game, with their fresh lead.

Interesting penalty: "Corey Perry: 2 Minutes for Protective Equipment"

I was going to guess instigating a fight while wearing a visor, but there's no instigator penalty.

EDIT: NM, there was indeed an instigator.

That Setoguchi penalty shot would have been devastating if it had gone in.

With Phoenix blowing out the Swans, it would be nice to get two points tonight.

A lot sexier then I imagined it'd be. I think I need to sit down.

Is this a joke? Of course any team would.

It is literally not a joke. The Kings went 3-1 against the Preds this year. Maybe they're a better matchup for your team though; I don't know.

Gotta remember to bookmark this page for later.

IMO, the only teams in the playoff picture weaker than Nashville are Dallas and Phoenix.

Are you not looking in the East? Cuz there's NJ, FLA, Buffalo, Ottawa and Washington there. And in the West I'd put Chicago as less dangerous this year as well. Nashville is a serious cup contender. Personally, I'd put LA ahead of Nashville, but that's a REALLY subjective call on my part. I think that team is built to play the kind of hockey that wins championships. But if someone said they had A LOT of teams rated higher than LA I would understand.

Right, I was only talking about the West.

Honestly, I haven't watched much of Nashville against other teams. They don't scare me, because we've handled them 3 times out of 4 this season, and I think we match up quite well against them. Can't speak for other teams' matchups though.

I don't think the Kings are winning the Cup, but I do think they're better than their record. They've been one of the best teams in the league since changing coaches and then acquiring Carter. Sounds stupid on a night when we just lost to the mediocre Wild, but I think this team can win a playoff series. The only western teams I truly fear right now are Vancouver and Detroit. Not saying we wouldn't lose to Nashville, Chicago or St. Louis, because we definitely could, but I also think we theoretically could beat those teams.

Considerably Tabris is back, this might be worse.

Because now that their success is mostly counter-productive to the organization's needs, they start playing well and no less against a desperate team fighting for the playoffs. Brinbe gets it...

Serious question: do you have Asperger's?

And if that's really a serious question you're levelling towards me.... =/ My point isn't outrageous. I'm contending that there is no "start playing well" when it comes to the Leafs. It's one win, and shitty teams win once in awhile. You posted Loleafs with an image saying they play competitively only when they're mathematically eliminated, and I disagreed. They were eliminated in a 3-0 loss to Carolina, and followed that up with a 7-1 loss against Philadelphia.
