Those Anaheim ugly sweaters are very nice
Suck a butt, meta.
Panarin got lost on that one.
Creep.See you on Tuesday.
Took me 21 minutes to log onto this shitty hotel internet to tell you, Marvie, to suck a dick.
True enough. Ryan's contract doesn't go until 2025.Holy shit Parise has sucked so far this year. Slow, lacks tenacity, looks like he is playing hurt (again) after coming back from injury (again).
On pace for about 40 points if he played a full season, but he's already missed 7 games so who knows. 7.5m for 20g+25a is pretty lousy.
But at least he isn't Bobby Ryan.

Blow the fucking whistle ref. Jesus christ.
I'm assuming this post is referring to the goal that followed after the ref refused to call the play dead. Was there any explanation given? Too far out of the net? Nobody around? I didn't understand when watching the highlights as it seemed like covering the puck was very reasonable in that situation.
I actually just saw the highlights on this. He was waaaaaaay out of the net. I think the idea was that the ref was giving him an opportunity to move the puck before he called a delay of game on him.

He was really far out, but come the fuck on. The refs blow the play dead on those all the time and just give the goalie a warning. I don't remember the last time I saw a goalie get a penalty for delay of game for covering the puck far outside the crease. That goal pretty much deflated them. Tied 1-1 and kind of out playing the BJ's all game, the Wings had a chance.Yeah looking at it again it was further than I thought it was. I thought he was by the end of the trapezoid area but the rebound really got away from him. That was the real problem in the first place. Really bad rebound.
I never knew this website existed. This is great.Ok, having watched the highlights on DTMTS, it's safe to say we got away with some shit. Raanta was fucking stellar. So was Darling. We were outplayed. Offside call/challenge was correct.
Holden's goal was actually pretty damn nice.
So we can we keep playing Raanta? Raanta until Shestyorkin. I'm ready.

Silex I got a little sumting sumting for you.

These Flyers jerseys are particularly ugly. Black continues to be terrible for hockey jerseys.

More than a year after local leaders asked for a property tax exemption for Nationwide Arena, the Ohio legislature agreed to it Thursday, the last day of its lame-duck session.
The arena, owned since 2011 by the Franklin County Convention Facilities Authority, had pushed hard for the exemption. It became clear after the public authority purchased the arena that it would be liable starting Jan. 1 for taxes on a structure valued by the county at $143.4 million. Don Brown, the authority's executive director, said he's been informed that Gov. John Kasich now has until the end of the year to sign the bill, which would take effect after 90 days later.
If the legislature had again taken no action, the Facilities Authority would have been responsible for a total annual tax bill of more than $4 million a year, according to the county auditor. About three-fourths of that goes to Columbus City Schools.
The Columbus Board of Education voted unanimously last December to support the authority's full tax exemption for the arena, home of the Blue Jackets professional hockey team, in return for a direct payment of $586,000 a year and the free use of the facility for high-school graduations.
If that had happened, Brown said the Facilities Authority would have continued its attempt to lower the arena's appraised value to protect the Facilities Authority from the property-tax bill, for which it had no money budgeted. Brown maintained the arena wasn't worth nearly the $143.4 million appraisal on the open market.
The authority purchased the arena for $42.5 million under a complicated deal financed by casino tax revenues collected by Columbus and Franklin County. To date, those revenues have paid for upkeep and operations at the arena, but have not been sufficient to begin paying back loans for the purchase. including site work paid by the city of Columbus, it cost close to $200 million to build the 20,000-seat facility that opened in 2000.
