Maaaan, so close at the end. Have to say, that was a pretty decent game played by the Leafs. They were pretty solid defensively again and really started taking it to Buffalo later on in the game, though they basically went into 100% defense mode at that point. Much improved in the face off area as well. Miller was definitely getting to them a bit though, lots of missed shots trying to pick the corners.

GG Buffalo, Miller always has our number. Leafs didnt really generate enough chances for most of the game so dont deserve a win but I think they were still the better team.

Kadri and Komarov look great on the third line. Phaneuf was solid. I think having Kostka, Fraser, Holzer really hurt our offense. Will be nice to see Gardiner, Franson and Komi. The first two will help with generating a lot more offense. Phil isnt in goal scoring mode yet and lupul didnt really have it going until the third, but bozak was playing pretty well astleast.
