NHL January 2015 |OT| A team wearing the Maple Leaf won something at the ACC

So he's actually good at its not just size?
Everything I've read in him indicates he's a good power forward, but I haven't seen much from him this tourney, and I'm always weary of big guys who can skate because it blinds people about the rest of their skill set.

Sens D of late has looked like the Oilers D of forever.

on that note...

he has hands and instincts, but apparently his point production is just not there compared to guys ranked below him by many scouts. I feel he is definitely overrated. Not bust-tier like Gauthier, but top 10? I dunno.

Size is the most overrated player factor in the NHL. Just look at Duclair and how late he was drafted compared to his skill set.

I was wondering why Petan went in the 2nd round with 120 points in 71 games, all I had to do is check his height :/

Don't forget Gallagher. Coming off a 41 goal season in the WHL, along with a bunch of fights, and he goes 147th overall. He played the exact same way he does now too, always driving the net, but too small.

You'd think teams would know better by now. It's part of the reason I was surprised the Leafs took Nylander over Ritchie seeing as they seem to love big guys.

And Hudon now who's tearing up a the AHL.

Random question, does anyone know where I can find that gif of the Redwing player skating around the whole zone twice before scoring? I think it's Pavel Datsyuk but I'm not 100%

Edit: Nvm found it, I'm an idiot it was Gustav Nyquist

You're thinking of Nyquist vs the Sens, it was posted here the night it happened.

I remember watching him as a Vancouver Giant and being amazed at how awesome he was. Wore the C for a reason.
