-MacKinnon got torn apart by Roy pretty badly on his first attempt on this drill as Roy stopped a mere seconds after MacKinnon's line gained entry into the zone and shouted "Your brain is not in Colorado. What are you thinking right there? What's going through your head? Figure it out!" MacKinnon responded by skating over to Tourigny to ask what he needed to be doing, Tourigny showed him and MacKinnon skated back to center ice where Roy was glaring daggers at him. Extremely tense moments, to say the least.

I guess we got a point but seriously that is a terrible combination right there, safe to say we are in a big slump right now and we are going to get passed very soon if we don't turn it around and win next game. Heck, we already have more games played now then the teams around us which sucks too.

Of course I have hockey friday so I won't see that game either, just can only hope the whole team uses the strength of sir Cleary to win the game or something.

The Fleury resigning thread on HFBoards is already 19 pages long and has just as many meltdowns in it as you would expect. I flirted with having a meltdown myself but there are a few things keeping me from the edge.

Fleury really has stabilized under our new goalie coach, even in the playoffs (.915 sv%, not spectacular but for the first time in five years he wasn't one of the reasons we lost). He's also played very well behind Mike Johnston's defensive system. It's still way too early to tell how our new defensive structure will play out but it could end up being a good thing for MAF.

2. When this extension kicks in next year, he will have the 13th highest cap hit for a goalie in the league. He's making starter money, but he's not getting paid like he's elite.

3. The Pens have some good goaltending prospects in the pipeline but they're still a couple years away from doing anything at the NHL level. This extension is for four years, clearly the organizations plan is to keep MAF for the time being and then hopefully have a new homegrown starter ready to replace him. If he can continue to play solid, I can live with him for a few more years.

Everybody is ill. Getzlaf and Perry out with the sickness. What's going on? Supposedly a bacterial infection that started in southern Callifornia? They shut down faciilites in St. Louis last week because it. The NHL is diseased.

I'm just a dude with friends. The biggest thing is I talk a lot of shit about films on here and that's the industry I'm going into. That's why I don't post pictures of myself on gaf.

If you followed me on instagram you'd see the porn chicks like my pictures or comment on them. Here's the thing about the porn friend. I've known her since she was 14. She went into the industry. Everyone but me stopped talking to her. I don't give a shit what she does for a living. I like her company. That lead me to being around other pornstars.

My twitter is clean though. I just talk about comics and movies on there.

The model is a friend I made through a photographer I had a class with. The date is cancelled though. She's not coming to LA this weekend. It's cool. Gives me time to work on my proposal.

Given our dire state at center, the only reason to do this is if Derek Stepan was being activated off LTIR...

Tierney sent down to make a roster spot for Tyler Kennedy. Not a huge fan of that choice, should have been McGinn going down. He would have to pass waivers though and I'm sure management doesn't want to risk him getting picked up. Would be poor asset management.

Third line is gonna be a tire fire tonight, none of those players are particularly good defensively.

Collins said one outdoor game this year will be held at Levi’s Stadium, providing an opportunity for the NHL to “rub against Silicon Valley.” The league held an “Innovation Day” on Oct. 27 at SAP Center in San Jose that featured demonstrations of new technology for league officials, rights holders, sponsors and club execs. One idea presented was a project with SportVision to reintroduce the “Fox glowing puck,” a feature used in the '90’s to highlight the puck’s location and speed during broadcasts. Collins said there is a big push to more properly create an accurate digital record of the action on the ice through technology and tracking akin to what has been done in baseball, and that the player’s union has been supportive of ideas for that.
