Really weird that Diablo 3 is having such a renaissance now. It deserves it after RoS fixed everything, but still really weird to see after playing that game at launch.
Phil Kessel is one of the smartest hockey minds hes worked with. Spott also marvelled at how Kessel who Spott estimated during the lecture is 15 pounds overweight remains an explosive speedster.
Teemu saying he'd still be playing if the Ducks had a different coach. Brutal.

Selanne also said that after the Ducks lost to the Kings in the second round of the playoffs, Kings Coach Darryl Sutter, who had coached Selanne in San Jose, told him the Kings were glad Selanne hadn’t played a greater role in that series because Selanne then might have turned the series in the Ducks’ favor.
Come play for the best coach in the NHL Teemu, our old guy (Alfie) probably isn't going to play this year because he messed his back up again!
"NHL player survey: Detroit Red Wings' Mike Babcock is No. 1 coach
Cleary probably rigged the voting somehow.
Leafs season is off to a promising start.
Everyone needs a scapegoatI like how you blame Cleary for everything.
On the eve of training camp, an exasperated Mike Yeo voiced his frustration over a dizzying goaltending merry-go-round that looks as if its going to circle for yet another season.
Josh Harding, arguably the Wilds No. 1 goaltender heading into Thursdays training camp, broke his right foot while kicking a wall after an off-ice altercation with a teammate and is expected to miss at least two or three months. And unsigned goalie Darcy Kuem- per was embroiled in a contract dispute that if not rectified Thursday means he will at a minimum be a late arriver to camp and thus put him behind the 8-ball.
Hardings injury wont require surgery, but he is out indefinitely. Yeo and an equally frustrated General Manager Chuck Fletcher were to meet with Harding on Wednesday to try to ascertain how he got hurt. Details are murky, but its clear he got into some kind of altercation with a teammate Sunday.
We just have to figure out what happened, Fletcher said Wednesday morning. But Im not sure I want to get into a whole public exposé of what happened.
Harding is in the final year of a contract that pays him $2.1 million. In 2010, Fletcher suspended forward James Sheppard for an off-ice ATV accident days before camp that resulted in season-ruining knee surgery.
Asked if the Wild conceivably could do the same thing with Harding, Fletcher said: I dont want to get into hypotheticals. I just want to hear what happened and figure it out.
The bottom line is right now hes not available to us, and that diminishes our depth at that position and it hurts our team. However it happened, its important to get the answers, but at the end of the day, its not going to change the situation.
His injury is the result of a tantrum? Alright then.
He should think about subscribing to the Patrick Roy School of Frustration Management and start tearing doors off of hinges in order to get at his wife so that he can beat her with his fists.
Mantha broke his tibia and is out 6-8 weeks, which means 0 chance he plays this year, sorry Crazed.
This totally happened.

The most critical part of the lesson is making sure they can't get to the phone to dial 911 first.
That sucks. Did it happen in a game?
I would say the most critical part of the lesson is beating someone with your fists in such a way that there is no actual evidence of it.

In other news, Varlamov has to go back to school to retake some classes this fall.
Pretty sure the class is only for phantom fist beatings, not drop kicks. In other news, Varlamov has to go back to school to retake some classes this fall.
Hopefully his classes require him to take a trip to Ukraine
Don't forget the rest of the crew.I'll bet they're all woman beaters.
Yeah, if Teemu wanted a bigger role he should have played like playoff Teemu more than once during the regular season.I love Teemu but he's just salty about being benched toward the end of the season. I understand where he's coming from, and Bruce may have done it too much, but Selanne isn't a spring chicken anymore. He can't be putting in Getzlaf's minutes.
Lol, Sutter straight trolling Selanne. What a cock.
I like how you blame Cleary for everything.
Everyone needs a scapegoat
Injuries everywhere.Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin will be held out of the start of training camp, it was announced today by Pittsburgh Penguins Executive Vice President and General Manager Jim Rutherford.
Rutherford said the decision was made as a precaution after both players suffered injuries while preparing for camp.
INJURE ALL THE PLAYERS!!!
Cleary is to blame for all this, every problem in the world is Cleary's fault.
According to an article by Dave Feschuk of the Toronto Star, new Leafs assistant coach Steve Spott, tasked with developing "a new breakout play" earlier this summer, was faced with some resistance from star forward Phil Kessel.
The former Marlies head coach told the story to colleagues at a coaches clinic in August:
Spotter said that when he went to Phil (with the breakout play), Phil said, Im not doing it, said one of the attendees, a former professional player.
Said another: Spott was saying (that) these are the things Ive got to deal with now that Ive never had to deal with. In the AHL (where Spott coached last season with the Toronto Marlies), when youre the coach what you say goes. Whereas now that Im here (in the NHL), Ive got a guy telling me: No. Im not going to do that.
The article quotes another attendee, who said that when Spott went to Leafs head coach Randy Carlyle to discuss Kessels reaction to the new strategy, "Carlyles attitude was that were fired before (Kessel is) out of here, the hierarchy doesnt want to deal with Phil. He scores 30 (goals) a year and thats all they want."
"(Spott said) Phil hates coaches. He hates Randy. He hates me and I dont even know him yet."
Tyson Barrie said:I uh--I sent Josh Harding an anonymous tip the Matt Cooke slept with his girlfriend and we'll see how that works out.
Drama. Drama for everyone.
NHL trying the NFL model for success.
What, the beat your kids/spouse model?
I'm surprised this hasn't blown up as much as I thought it would.
Maybe it's because Feschuk wrote it.

Sounds like no captain will be named until just before the start of the regular season.
It's the whole "I talked to a guy who overheard this guy saying this other said this" aspect to it.
I'm surprised it was even published, but then this is same paper that pays Damien Cox and Rosie DiManno to write for them.
edit: I take it back. Carlyle says the comments were made 'tongue in cheek'. Uh oh!
edit2: Nonis says Carlyle doesn't have to change, because the Ducks were a possession team and hard to play against! Uh oh x 10^10!
