I can see the city helping out with the Coliseum project if this actually happens. The Rose Bowl just got a big, expensive facelift though, so I'm not sure if there would be too much money going to Pasadena. They'd be better off spending on infrastructure to get people to and from the Rose Bowl. Right now, to get there from downtown, you have to take a bus, then a subway line, then another bus, then a specific shuttle. Not going to work.
The metro is supposed to extend to the Rose Bowl if the bid comes through. It would split from the gold in Pasadena.
In a dream world LA goes HAM if they get the bid and expand everything. Redline goes all the way to Northridge. Split the track at North Hollywood and go towards Burbank.
