Man, people always get pissed when me and others talk about Other M, but lately I can't get into a thread without someone talking about it :(

But yeah, SF Zero is a good, low budget game with great gameplay that for some reason a lot of people seem to suck at. It's like the one game that redeems that stupid controller for me.

Other M is bad at absolutely everything it tries to do except character assassination.

Sony didn't make Persona 5. Unless Sony paid Atlus a butt ton of money to keep P5 off Switch they're going to go where the money goes.

No, but the situation makes more sense now that duckroll mentioned the Aniplex connection. If a Sony subsidiary is heavily involved in the production, marketing and distribution of Persona anime and merchandise, which is a very lucrative business, on top of Sony helping with the localization, advertising and marketing in Asia... they do have some degree leverage over where Persona can go.

Persona is good, but I want mainline SMT and other spin-offs more.

SMTV and Strange Journey 2 on the Switch? That would be too awesome to handle.

I want a FURRY nintendo direct

the remake was building up to the unexpected spin-off:

I'm really hoping for Bayonetta 1 and 2. 3 would be the ideal situation but a port is probably all we'll get. But having it on the go is a definite buy for me. Love those games.

It's honestly not that bad

It's so taken out of proportion

I feel like A1/Aniplex doing the anime is meaningless in the grand scheme of things. Sony is a huge corporation and most of their divisions keep independent of each other and get a lot of work due to how efficient they are. Like A1 also did the FFXV Brotherhood anime and FFXV is still on Xbox One and PC. The main reason why Persona 5 is on Playstation is because Persona sells on Playstation. If there's potential to sell on Switch, it's going to be on Switch.

QFT.

Aniplex being a Sony subsidiary is a secondary, or even a tertiary factor. It's far removed from things that would directly impact game development. Not to mention that Persona Q was on 3DS, Persona 4 Arena was on 360.

They'll put Persona where it works and where it sells, which highlights how the Vita isn't even strong enough to run Persona 5, and doesn't compare to the overall global selling power of the Switch.

Fuuuuck I just realized we're getting this tomorrow, and not the day after. HYPE!

Cannot wait to watch in one window while refreshing the gaf thread for it here, while also seeing the live comments section on youtube scroll the speed of light.

Is this guy verified?

Not that I know of, but regardless, the post is a rather empty statement. GAF will have a meltdown if the developer is an ideal choice, a weird choice, or a concerning choice. Pretty much every developer that isn't internal Nintendo is going to lead to lots of reactions on here.

I guess the ARMS update is dropping soon.

Just a random thought: With Mechanica's admiration of various female ARMS characters, I'm beginning to wonder if Nintendo would ever consider revealing her to be bisexual/lesbian. Nintendo typically doesn't deal with sexuality at all in these kinds of games so I feel confident in saying the subject will never be mentioned, but art like this still brings the question to mind.
