I'm pretty sure local multiplayer/Gameshare is 30fps for MKW when there are 3-4 players.

What I find interesting is that the minimap doesn't complete in a circle. Maybe it is 8 checkpoints? There are a total of 8 straightaways in the whole map so, shot in the dark, maybe it's that. It looks like all you do is drift through U turns and slam the gas like some sort of intentional practice/gimmick map so there's that.
