Hopefully we'll get to hear more about the new Mario Party. It looks compromised by the fact that everyone's in one vehicle again (one of the stupidest ideas they have ever implemented) but it looks like it could be redeemed by the fact that the gamepad player plays as Bowser and has unique powers/control over the game.

Kid Icarus Uprising HD for Wii U?
Since I will buy a Wii U sometime after Smash launches, this would please me. I've watched my friend play both of them some and I really liked the game worlds in those. Thought they looked very inventive.
If they decide to remake Majora's Mask, they're gonna have to do a lot of convincing users why they should play it to get sales comparable to the OoT remake. It seems like the zelda crowd is split between diehard fans of Majora's Mask and those who just never played it because of the misconstrued reception it got at the time (clock/timer is stressful, weird mask system, etc).
If they have to reveal any remake/remaster tomorrow it has to be one of these three:
Majora's Mask 3D
F-Zero GX HD (preferably with online multiplayer)
Mario Galaxy 1 & 2 HD collection (possibly with SMS as well? Doubtful but it'd be a good idea if they aren't going to do GCN VC).
If any one of those three is announced tomorrow, I would be satisfied with this Direct. Seriously, I would. I know, I know, old games I've already played (actually I didn't play much of GX OR MM) but seeing them in HD (excluding MM3D which would just literally be a new coat of paint and models + better framerate anyway so it'd be significantly different regardless) after I haven't played them in years makes a world of a difference. Plus the possibility of SMG 1 + 2 not requiring Wiimote controls anymore would be a nice bonus as well (I mean they'd have to have the GamePad and Pro Controller as options).

I think its important to point out that they said they had ideas for 2d/3d Metroid, not that anything was in development.
No way in hell Sakurai has the time at the moment to allow this to happen.
Plus it's better with the controls it has than it would be with stick controls.

Well considering a Wii U, it'd have to be something popular that could help it. An already struggling franchise would just....be dead upon arrival.
