Weird place to ask, but I bought Zelda 1 on the eShop and when I open my inventory, I cannot move the cursor over to the bow. I've pressed every damn button on this thing. I did a google search and someone had a similar problem but no solution. Is this glitched out or something?

You have to buy the arrow before you can use the bow.

What is this? Amateur hour?

I don't think you can select the bow until you get arrows for it.

I don't know, I played the Vita Zen Pinball 2 table demos and I think the game seriously benefits from being in 3D. Far moreso than from the increased screen real estate.

Also, the Vita version works best in portrait orientation, but man using the touchscreen to trigger the flippers is a pain in the bum.

The Vita version has better physics and sharper graphics with a higher framerate. The 3D on 3DS is nice but it's not nearly enough. Plus, Zen Pinball 2 is cross compatible with PS3 and Vita, and it actually has DLC. (All of the DLC, in fact, mysteriously minus the Fantastic Four table.)

I guess I haven't played enough to notice the physics being improved. That 3D though... it makes a huge difference for me. I find it extremely difficult to focus on anything without it -- the tables look like a mishmash of colours and gizmos.

The 3DS version the The Pinball Arcade is in trouble, might not be released.

We haven’t abandoned the 3DS completely, but it isn’t as powerful, comparatively, to phones that are running our game. We need a strong processor to run the emulation tech. We are still trying to get it to push an acceptable frame rate, but it is starting to look doubtful that we’ll ever be able to release the full collection for 3DS.

The Wii U version is still on track, won't be a launch title but will release soon after.

We feel that the Wii U audience is perfect for digital pinball. We are using the game pad as a touch screen for menu navigation, and for plunging the ball. In game, we will be using the screen for the DMD [dot matrix display] so your view of the table is unobstructed. We have a great amount of customization that the touch screen game pad allows us and we are still investigating other ways that we can best utilize that.

Man after a solid month of Wii VC titles, I thought Club Nintendo would finally show the 3DS some love. Waiting for another two weeks to pass by. I haven't spent any coins since Starship Defense.

I haven't read anywhere else but there's demos of Pokémon Mystery Dungeon and Monster Hunter 3G on the Japanese eShop.

JP Shop had a delayed update, it seems. Anyway, Star Soldier, Sonic Drift 2 and Megaman 5 for JP VC next week.

I've got a soft spot for Megaman 5, and 540 yen sitting in my account. That said, I would be quite happy if they release the other castlevanias soon. CVIII/Akumajou Densetsu would be an instant buy.

Ugh at that price. I would really quite like a comprehensive Pokedex on my 3DS, but one that doesn't interact with your game in any way? Nor can it be accessed whilst playing? I really don't think so...

maybe they'll do that with the Gen 6 games..

Hmm...I'd like to know if it really moves or just copies the data (especially the save data!), if I'll be able to redownload the WiiWare/VC games on the WiiU (and I might be in potential trouble here since I bought from three different regions (DE,UK and AUS)) and if there's some kind of firmware update involved on the Wii (wouldn't want to lose the ability to play my import games, since I sure as hell won't be able to play them on the WiiU).
At least on the latter it sounds like you're just downloading an application.

I would like to ask a few questions about importing a 3ds from the US. Since these will be online related I think it will be cool here, but tell me if I'm wrong. After a search I could'nt find a hardware topic (it is surely right in front of me though, in font 24, it is always right in front of me...)

So as I have the weakness to still love jrpg, as the 3ds is region locked, and as european publishers are about as competent as me in diplomacy... Well the thought was simple, jrpgs are an already endangered species westward, why add some layers of f*** on it ? If Shin Megami Tensei 4 is ever annouced for the west, I won't wait 1-2 years for an european publisher to wake up and release a non translated game.

But as companies these days really work hard to avoird making money, can some 3ds importers answer these :
* is the store locked to us credit card ? I mean is there a check made to block foreign customers ?
* if so, are there nintendo card and sites who sell the card code digitaly ?
* are 3dses region locked in functionnality too ? Will my US handeld be able to interact with the old world ? I don't know, streetpasses, the likes of that.
* and without much hope : is the US club nintendo open to foreign adress and able to send goodies overseas ? (yeah, like it will...)

All in all, it shocks me while writing this post how absurdly stupid this industry is to the enthousiast niche. Like I maybe will be granted the right to play if I stand semi naked on one feet while singing in ancient greek.

Of course it will move the data, otherwise you would have two usable copies of the games and Nintendo doesn't want that.

The transfer software will probably scan the Wii for tickets and tell Nintendo's servers to add the games to the Wii U account # that was stored in the SD card at the start of the process. When everything is properly stored online and in the SD card, it will wipe the Wii (or at least the shop tickets) and write some sort of key on the SD card which the Wii U will use to complete the transfer.

The Wiiware, VC games and DLC will surely be re-downloaded, not transfered from the SD card. The SD card will probably only contain local data like saves and miis.

I have Japanese Wii and live in the UK. The shop is not tied to a japanese credit card. no problem using a UK debit card. You do not need to worry about that.

play-asia sell US points cards if you need them.

as for functionality, all 3DS consoles no matter what region interact with each other via streetpass etc etc.

pretty sure club nintendo is tied down to each separate region so you will need a US address.

Once I get everything on my Wii transferred over to the Wii U, I can finally mod without worries. Is it easy to change the shop to the Japanese region one and are there any difficulties to using it?

Thank you very much for your input Kobashi, really appreciated ! Well, things are pointing nicely to a 3ds purchase for me here :-)
Shitty region locking though, locking a handeld, goddd...

I have a US 3DS and am in Australia so hopefully I can help

The US store is locked to US credit cards but other regions like Canada and Brazil aren't

As someone else said Play Asia sells the cards digitally but its abit pricey. I'm sure there is a site that sells just cards like this as well as iTunes, Amazon, PSN cards but I forget the name of it.

Street Pass and what not will be fine, things like Nintendo Video and Netflicks won't, they work on your IP and won't let you use them.

And Club Nintendo won't ship to AUS, but if you hunt around you can find sites online who will help you get around stuff like this and you can get the item shipped to them and they'll ship to you. Also you can use Club Nintendo points to redeem for free downloadable titles like Marios Picross at the moment. Its not free loot but its still something.
