Got dat Tetris Ultimate pre-ordered off Amazon UK.
Gonna pre-order Sonic Boom 3DS by the end of the month, hope it'll be good. Or at least not a borefest like LW 3DS :V

Still can't believe that Shovel Knight and the MK8 DLC are set to release this month in Europe but both still don't have a specific date.

Also can't decide whether I'll buy Shovel Knight for 3DS or Wii U :/

Been getting some good and spooky stuff on the Wii U VC these last couple of days....

All 3 Castlevanias for GBA
Gargoyles Quest 2 and Demon's Crest

I have wanted to own these for a while now and playing them on Gamepad is a great way to play them for me. Noticed last night that clicking in the right analog switches the smoothing mode on and off without having to go into a menu. And the button config utility is great.

How often do you get StreetPasses? I can imagine the Miiverse aspect of the Wii U one would be better if SP activity was fairly low.

Very rarely. My 3DS is mostly used at home. I only use it on the go when I'm on intercity trainrides for about 2-4 times a month, each with about 2 hours time to kill. And even then I often just forget to turn on the WIFI connection. Still, I don't have much else on my radar or backlog for 3DS and gaming on it is by far my most favorite activity on those trainrides.

I'll have to think about it. Thanks for your reply.

Damn you Nintendo for not supporting crossbuy (yet)!

Zonic

Gives all the fucks
Trying to decide if I should get Gargoyle's Quest 2 with the $5 I got from DDP or wait for something else/when I have less in my backlog.

I can't believe how many months in a row I've subscribed to the new thread with a complaint about Shovel Knight not being out here yet. >_>

Maybe, finally, we've come to the end of that?

inb4 turns out it has a Nov 30th release date that rolls over to Dec thread

To be fair though I've lost so much hype for the game at this point it really doesn't matter. November is soooo busy, even just for Nintendo (especially in NZ/Aus with the N3DS etc) I'd be pretty much set even if Shovel Knight wasn't coming out finally. Oh well.

Should I give up hoping for a European release of Steel Empire to eventually pop out of one of these monthly lists? :/

I'm disappointed with these 3DS themes... they are all tailored for the largest tile size. The colors/designs are pretty busy or noisy on their own, but who actually uses the default large tile size? None of the selections so far have any range... Lame.

OP, you have the price for The Swapper wrong. As ridiculous as it may be, it actually is going to cost $20, not $15.

ZaciSa's demo is now approved by NOA lotcheck team! Off to NCL next week for testing. If approved, prob thinking of launching demo on Nov 13th. As of right now, this will be the 1st NWF demo, at least as far as I know.

I definitely think this is the right move. I think there's a bigger market on the eShop now for high-value, low-priced games than the bare-bones bargain-bin games that keep showing up.
Yeah same. Original idea was to make a simple $0.79 Solitaire (with a few variations, Spider, etc) and release it before end of year. But honestly, it was feeling kinda shovelware-ish. And I REALLY don't want to get known for bad games. Now I'm going full scale with this project, hiring artist, adding a lot of simple type games (single player & multiplayer) and adding online features, including online multiplayer. Prob aiming for early 2015 launch, maybe like Feb. No idea about price, but obviously be based upon how many games/features, but would like to aim for $4.99 if it feels right, else maybe little lower.

Oh wow. That would be amazing. I loved Clubhouse Games.

Please do as much of both online multiplayer and offline download play multiplayer as you can <3
Yeah, already have some ideas for offline/online multiplayer games that should be fun. Apparently as of right now, no NWF (as in HTML5, not Unity) is doing online.

Hey man, I think we need to have a serious talk about this "Kira's Clubhouse" name. I mean, I'm glad you didn't try to give terrisus a coronary this time with the unusual capitalization, don't get me wrong ;) But I think there's gotta be a name out there that's a bit more user-friendly and marketable. I mean in this the best way.
Mainly just an idea for now. "Kira's Clubhouse Games", where Kira would be a cat mascot and feature an actual treefort clubhouse and she act like a guide to use, like the Nintendoland hub. That is main reasoning behind it, but no where finalized.

Hopefully psyscrolr out before the end of the month~!

Good luck! Don't be alarmed if it fails it's first time, as almost noone passes their 1st time. Best advice is make sure to go over guidelines. Make sure if you use any naming like "Wii Remote Controller", that it be used correctly, as they require the naming of it to be the same (this got me 1 time). If your game has save data (I'd imagine it does), make sure it passes NAND full error message (they mention this in the Wii U NWF doc itself, it's a system alert, function/code is there too, though not sure if Construct 2/etc handles this automatically, though you can easily find out and test yourself (Wii U dev kit has function to fill up NAND)). Look at the dev forums to see how others have failed, that should help.

:)

I bought Zacisa and Stealth Inc. 2 today. I've only managed to play the former and I liked it even though I'm not very good at it. I'm trying to master things, 1 map at a time, and I just had a pretty good run on the first map.

Does Stealth Inc. 2 not have Off-TV play? I didn't have a chance to try it with the TV yet.

Bought Stealth Inc 2 and Costume Quest 2 last night. Had no time to play yet and I'll be out of town until tomorrow. ARGH.

RE:Revalaitons is only 16 dollars on the eStore til 11/4? Cool!

I'm still a little bit disappointed about not being able to buy Pokemon:TCG for the Wii U.

I hope Nintendo has a plan regarding crossplay for different software releases.

Is there any worthwhile reason to buy WatchDogs for Wii U or will it be a bad release?

Good lord, there's way too much to buy this month. Pier Solar, The Swapper, Tengami, and hopefully psyscrolr are all going to push me over the edge after having bought Smash and ORAS.

My bank account is crying. And that's just fine with me.

Sonic Lost World price drop to $30 or is that a sale? I'm interested in it but if you guys want to sway me either way, it be nice to hear some thoughts on it. Frederic: Resurrection of Music is also on sale for a dollar if anyone is interested in a good rhythm game.

Also, about the Bayonetta deal. Is it a limited time promotion? Do I need to buy Bayonetta (1 or 2) now to get the discount later? I haven't found any information stating when the deal ends.

Haven't played it, but I know that Sonic Lost World is indeed a price drop and not a sale. They also cut Sonic & Sega All-Star Racing Transformed (Wii U/3DS) to a similar price.

As for Bayonetta, I haven't seen anything indicating that it's a limited time deal, so I'd think it's here to stay.

If you dont have any of the other consoles its on and you think it looks like a cool game thats the reason to get it.

None of Ubisoft WiiU ports have been crappy ports they all have been solid, I expect the same for Watch_Dogs

Also, about the Bayonetta deal. Is it a limited time promotion? Do I need to buy Bayonetta (1 or 2) now to get the discount later? I haven't found any information stating when the deal ends.

Lost World is good but not great. lateral movement is a bit slow and the boss battles are rubbish but the rest is pretty fun especially some of the later extra stages. Very much worth the 30 bones.
