Mercs is more an action game in small doses, so it might work best for your "not m rated" personality

The lack of real content for the 3DS yet again is getting increasingly frustrating. I realise they must think (rightly) people are playing Pokemon, but it's really not an excuse.
The eShop has been crashing a lot in the past week or so. It needs to be fixed.
Guys, I have a friend of mine who's going to the USA soon, and I'm thinking about getting a Wii U through him. I just have one question: can I create a canadian Nintendo Network account and buy eShop content with a brazilian credit card? I can do it just fine in the 3DS eShop, but there's no Nintendo Network accounts and stuff, only a basic region setting which is quite easy to change. I don't really need a brazilian account, if there's only one location fixed for every account. Can anyone clarify this for me? Thanks in advance.

But choose the region wisely, because i chose Ontario and the takes are more than 10% per game! I read Alberta hás better taxes, but i changed and the taxes still high.

Ontario's HST is 13%. That's how much tax I pay on all retail goods.
Dude, the average Wii U game in brazil costs $91.26. 13% is nothing!

Those are great prices, especially for the arcade remakes. I'm surprised that they're not charging 8 bucks, considering that's what they charge for Genesis games on Virtual Console.
I'll definitely buy Space Harrier and maybe Super Hang-On, since I never got around to picking them up on my Japanese 3DS. I may double dip on Galaxy Force because it's THAT DAMN AWESOME, but I probably won't double dip on any of the Genesis games.

I didn't think the 3D effect in the Sonic or Ecco was very impressive. It was pretty nice in Shinobi 3, but not really mindblowing or anything (at least not to the same degree that it was in Galaxy Force 2) and it also suffered from really bad cross-talk. The emulation itself is top-notch and so these are probably the best portable versions of their respective games you can buy, even ignoring the 3D.

Holy shit! I just saw a 3D youtube video of Streets of Rage 3D Classics and it looks exactly like the mockup I made when it was announced! I'm speechless. When I did that mockup, I didn't really expect M2 to go that far. There's even more depth effects than I had imagine it was possible to do. The elevator stage looks beautiful.
I'm definitely buying it day one. Heck, I'm almost considering buying Altered Beast just to support them even more.

I changed my 3DS and WiiU eshop accounts to Alberta, and they still charge me Ontario taxes. I changed my primary adress to alberta too in CLub Nintendo, and they still charge me Ontario taxes.
I guess i will never get the alberta taxes.

Well, it was announced during the August Nintendo Direct, but we never heard about it since. It already got its USK rating (not PEGI yet), so I wonder what's the hold up here.
Recca was last month, Wario Land 3 the week before that (in the US). Even though the 3DS VC has been pretty weak lately, let's not pretend the Oracle games were the last good release.

I read a EU release somewhere... people were pretty happy about the deals (but since i dont get price differences from EUxUS, i was kinda lost)
On the canadian WiiU Eshop, the only deal i saw (aside from the RE one) was a lame "ZombiU: was $59,99, now $41,99".

I agree 3DS VC hasn't been stellar lately, but people have to stop acting like there's a complete drought because they haven't put up their favorite triple A game yet. I'm thrilled with having Revenge of the Gator on my system - it's perfect for quick bouts and it's nice to have high scores saved at last.
And you can't blame NoA for not promoting Recca - they've featured it in Nintendo Direct and e-mails!
