Relative to expectations, even seriously lowered, simply because they were showing off a new home console, Nintendo earns my "worst E3 conference of 2012" award.

Abysmal. Dreadful. Woeful. Miserable. There's no word to appropriate describe what an utter and complete failure it was. Worst case scenario (sans Star Fox x Metroid) and then some.

E3 is a shitty time for Nintendo fans. It's too early from the holiday for them to announce titles that are still under wraps. My guess is we'll start hearing about 1st party efforts in August or September.

I would argue Nintendo's conference was worse than Microsoft's based purely on the fact that Nintendo is bringing new hardware to the game. This show was the complete antithesis of their 2006 unveiling of the Wii.

I love this. It was the worst conference by far. This is a new console they are launching! Sony and Microsoft showed at least games to be excited about playing this year on systems people already own. Nintendo showed nothing!
