Nintendo Fans: Quit Being Stupid

I dont need game MODES to support my games online, I just need more nostalgia. I shall order 5 boats of it for the next year.

Then during the next 5 trade shows ill show renders of my new system, which will throw my fans into a fit cause ill include pictures of re-released games coming out for the new system. Ill flash buzzwords their tiny brains can latch onto and leave the show to create all the free misinformed publicity I need.

Nah, Drinky's a big softy really. I think he's just like DCharlie in a way, he just wants the games to be good. He's enjoyed Nintendo games in the past, but these days they just aren't getting him off like they used to.

Maybe he's grown up, maybe Nintendo has gone stale. Whatever - the hate Drinky spouts can only come from someone who truly loves Nintendo, deep down

Nintendo still makes the best games but the people who think Revolution is in competition with PS3 and 360 are kidding themselves.

This misses the point so much it's funny. Radically different doesn't always = good. And while the DS has some quality games, it is an inferior piece of hardware that is about 2-3 years behind the times. Nintendo has never invested in cutting-edge portable hardware because there has been no competition. Maybe now they will give us some quality portable hardware with their next revision.

By the way please buy Super Mario Bros for the fifteenth time; no, actually it costs more today than it originally did decades ago, even adjusted for inflation! But we include packaging around the game that really resembles the original packaging well, if you're Japanese. If you're American, we don't even extend that courtesy and charge the same price. Where was I?

Oh yeah I was busy holding a press conference about how there's diminishing returns in the graphics of today's videogames, which is a good thing because we're really tired of trying to compete with other companies that we say we're not in competition with. Buy Mario Baseball today! And remember, only we innovate!
 
The DS may be ugly and underpowered, but shut my MOUTH if it doesn't have the most fun games on a portable, ever - and so many more on the way. The fact that it's underpowered is enabling developers to produce games that don't cost 80 million dollars to make. They can just make fun games that don't cost very much money and everyone wins.

I haven't played anything BUT my DS for the past two months, my PS2/xbox/gamecube are just gathering dust and there's still only a handful of PSP games that seem worth my time.

Hooray for nintendo.

Anyone who suggests that the DS has "the most fun portable games ever" really REALLY hates gaming in general. Plus that sorta person makes the GBA SP and its stellar library cry!

Yup, both would play just as great as GBA games. Fuck, despite a mild graphic downgrade, I think DoS might be BETTER on the GBA since I wouldn't hafta do that stupid and uncomfortable stylus shit at inopportune times.

The GBA SP is nothing to sneeze at. I think the DS will surpass it.
