I'm sure nvidia can come out with some cheap chipset to accomodate a deal with nintendo.Nah they backed the wrong horse, every new Tegra chipset seems to be made for car self driving systems and machine learning now.

They can but won't be cheap, custom chips cost a lot of money, nintendo have no choice but to pay up, so expect switch 2 cost a lot more then the switchI'm sure nvidia can come out with some cheap chipset to accomodate a deal with nintendo.
And they have a long history of upending the tea table and not doing the same thing.Major question is, is the switch 2 going to sell 100m+ like switch 1, wii u failed, 3ds did not sell as much as ds, so i can understand nintendo being concerned,
I honestly forgot how they milked Mario Kart.
The only thing GAF ever wants from a new generation is “exact same thing as current gen but more powerful”.
I dunno. That’s boring. I hope Nintendo gives us some gimmicks again. Not just the same games with 4K graphics.
They would be stupid not to do a Switch 2 IMO. The device itself is incredibly desirable, so much so that even Valve copied it.Since they've closed the 3DS Line of systems, it's likely going to be a Switch 2 of some kind. They're not abandoning portability.
I'm sure that people are gonna be thrilled to pay a tablet more than a proper modern home console...They can but won't be cheap, custom chips cost a lot money, nintendo have no choice but to pay up, so expect switch 2 cost a lot more then the switch

I don't know anything about Steam deck, but can Nintendo just make a more powerful switch roughly the same size but with better graphics that plays switch 1 & switch 2 games for switch 2
They should learn from PlayStation and their fans. They bought the last of us , the last of us remaster and now the last of us remake... The Last of us series too is around the corner.“We are not sure yet how we will be able to force people to buy Mario Kart 8 again.”
And the last of us full priced multiplayer. They should learn from PlayStation and their fans. They bought the last of us , the last of us remaster and now the last of us remake... The Last of us series too is around the corner.
I won't say I don't care at all for achievements, but I honestly don't think that most people miss it at all in a Nintendo console.Translation - "We still don't want to implement an achievement system to our next system that's been widely available for 3 generations now. So we are very scared and prefer continuing to live in our own bubble"
I'm not sure how much of a gamble it was. It's easy to say in hindsight how Nintendo takes no risks and isn't innovative. Switch was a gamble. Considering that WiiU was a failure them essentially making a fully portable WiiU would be precarious at that time.
Also the switch meant they'd sacrifice one pillar of their business. Rather than having a home console and portable business. They now only have one. For a company to recognize that and commit isnt easy.
Wait... wasn't it confirmed F2P? Now I can't find it on Google, but I thought I have read that somewhere. If they charge full price, they've gone insane. And the last of us full priced multiplayer.
How often do you change your avatar picture? It seems like it's different every time I see you.“We are not sure yet how we will be able to force people to buy Mario Kart 8 again.”
I'm no authority on that game. But I thought they just said that the scope has expanded to a full, standalone experience. I don't believe they've discussed price.Wait... wasn't it confirmed F2P? they will never make another format than hybrid.Nintendo need to continue with the Switch brand and the hybrid format. Full backwards compatibility is a must. Otherwise I'm probably not gonna bother.
nVidia... and cheap...I'm sure nvidia can come out with some cheap chipset to accomodate a deal with nintendo.

They should port the 3ds version to Switch. I'd buy that in a heartbeat.Major concern because they need to figure out how to sell you Zelda Ocarina of Time for the 6th time.
just release something like the steam deck with better battery life.
Something with a big spring and a boxing glove. The only thing GAF ever wants from a new generation is “exact same thing as current gen but more powerful”.
I dunno. That’s boring. I hope Nintendo gives us some gimmicks again. Not just the same games with 4K graphics.
Or go fully mobileThey can always quit the hardware business and sit back with a margarita on a beach while playstation, xbox, and steam users buy up more pokemons, animal crossings, zelda, and marios than their wildest dreams. Never gonna happen but just sayin.
They could and should. But expect them to try and justify some gimmickI don't know anything about Steam deck, but can Nintendo just make a more powerful switch roughly the same size but with better graphics that plays switch 1 & switch 2 games for switch 2
Doesn't matter if you are an achievement hunter or not. Point is that Nintendo takes forever to adapt what's been a standard for many generations now whether it's achievements or a robust online system.I won't say I don't care at all for achievements, but I honestly don't think that most people miss it at all in a Nintendo console.
My last Nintendo system was the launch 3DS. I never was a huge fan of friend codes, but you got used to them. I wanted that robust online experience, but it didn't ruin my experience with the game/System. With that said, is paying for Nintendo multiplayer access a hindrance or has it been easily adopted still not having a robust online experience?Doesn't matter if you are an achievement hunter or not. Point is that Nintendo takes forever to adapt what's been a standard for many generations now whether it's achievements or a robust online system.
The success of the Switch? What makes you think that?
