Nintendo is going to release Switch 2 by late March 2025, they cannot delay it anymore...
The way it progresses, I'm inclined to believe retailers will receive stock by early March and Nintendo is going to announce it in mid-March because fuck why not.

I remember some news saying they'll have to release Switch 2 by the end of March, since the financial year ends by then and they'll have to show increased profits for investors.
Switch 1 was released in March 2017 for the same reason, but it was announced a lot earlier (Oct/Nov 2016).

XSS already renders in 360p resolutions and FSR can only do so much (I don't expect FSR4 support).
It has more raw power, granted, but in 2025 the RDNA2 architecture is considered antiquated/less efficient (no AI upscaling, small L2 cache) compared to Ada/Blackwell:

One factor in its favour will be that there will be more incentive to optimise for Switch 2 than for Series S.
