I wanted to play Zelda! I'm gonna re-purchase it during the holidays you guys
I only spent $80 on it in the first place so I wasn't too worried about maxing my profits, just getting what I wanted in return.He mentioned Xenoblade coming out as one reason why you shouldn't be selling your Switch so he's got my respect. 👊

Haha, yeah! I don't think those games are bad or anything, they're just not for me! I was surprised he mentioned it to be honest, would have thought he'd say Mario or a possible Pokemon game!
I kept my amFIlm screen protector on btw and mentioned it to him and he said he was just going to leave it! Maybe a lucky person will get my Switch with the bonus screen protector

Hi Guys,
My son, I think, did something to his Switch that now it doesn't work on the docking station. It would charge, but not work on the TV. I tried two different docks and both work with other Switches..
The console works fine and used to work perfectly. He's not admitting what he did (he's 7) but I'm assuming that he tried to charge it with his ipad cord and might have damaged the USB-C port..
Now, I got the Switch from UK and I don't even live there.. What can I do? With the saves being locked to the console, my options are so limited I guess

My dock stopped displaying on the TV after a few days from when I got it. I sent into repairs and they confirmed that it was indeed a defect, so you may be having the same problem as I did. I only had to send in the dock, btw!
I'd guess they're almost always gray at this point. Grays have been easy to get for some time, but I had to fight to get my reds and blues. Both sets seem to work perfectly, btw.

Maybe they'll prioritise Wii VC games that don't use the IR or just use it for stuff like menu screens that could easily be altered. There are a lot of those. I'd double dip on Wii Sports and Excite Truck.

I think I've got at least one Joy-Con that has the wireless troubles, but since with my setup when I'm playing docked it's usually about a meter away it's been pretty low priority. In addition I've already opened the things up to do some color swapping, so if I want them fixed I'll probably need to do it myself. I've heard it's very simple to do so with conductive foam, but is there any guide out there? Searching around I just find a bunch of news articles that don't go into detail.
Has anyone had any problems using the Switch with a wired connection ? I have a third party LAN adaptor attached and it worked wired flawlessly for a very short while and is now just dead, won't connect at all wired. It still picks up the wired connection but won't connect to it. Is this one of these cases where I really need the official HORI LAN adaptor ? I'll probably try a new ethernet cable as well to just remove that possibility as well.

Have you tried a cold boot of your Switch? Seems a lot of things get "stuck" if you leave it on too much through eshop downloading and game/system patching. A nice cold boot fixes a lot of issues at the moment.

Wish we could get a release date for DQ1+2 in the west. Also does anyone know what happened to Dragonball Xenoverse 2? After the showing up at the reveal in January theres been no mention of it since, its not even on Nintendo's official website under Switch Games anymore like I was after the presentation. Really hope they didn't cancel the Switch port cause I really want to play the game on the go.

I've been playing with the restocked Switch from 2 weeks ago, and I haven't gotten any problems with the joycons.

I got a Pro Controller this morning. What an amazing controller. Might be my favorite ever.
Just get a free replacement, thats what I did after the 2 i put had a big bubble in the middle.

The dock works with another Switch.. Tried two docks.. it's clear the problem is from the Switch and I think it's the USB port.. it still charges though
Either way you're going to need a repair, and if it looks like the port was damaged when they get it in to repair, they may charge for it.

I've been offered a Switch + official carry case for £240, checked it in person and it's in mint condition. I was planning to wait at least till Black Friday to grab a bundle, but I think it's gonna be difficult to beat that price (could have the console + carry case + Zelda for £280)

well, seeing how the pins within the USB-C socket are on a that flimsy center 'tongue' i could see how by shoving a lightning cable in there, your son might have damaged some of the pins. - it's exactly the reason why i prefer lightning's design over USB-C. the lightning socket(! - i.e. the thing that is way harder to replace) looks and feels much more sturd than the USB-C socket.)
The connector has 24 pins, only 4(?) are used for power delivery. So there's a chance your kid damaged one or a few data pins, while the power pins stayed intact.
Seller got it on launch day only for Zelda, and he wants to get the money back asap. He's giving me the original receipt as well, so it seems to be legal lol
yup, but at a later point than the digital release, if memory serves me right.

I was surprised to see it miss launch, but now I'm not expecting it until E3. It seems like the perfect time to reveal it as if it were a brand new thing with a bunch of accessories.
So, I just got a switch along with a copy of Zelda(shocking!). However, upon trying to enter my CC info in order to buy Binding of Isaac the shop keeps making me re-enter my information. Doesnt seem to be storing any info, but this is incredibly frustrating! Does anybody have any idea what I can do to remedy this situation?

It's annoying as hell and I can't believe the eShop launched without that feature. I wonder how many impulse buys they are missing out on by forcing everyone to re-enter their CC info every time.
I cant even get it to retain for the first time! I enter it, in order to make the purchase, and it just makes me re-enter immediately. I havent been able to actually make a purchase yet.
Tried using my own credit card, girl friends credit card both to no avail. Tried doing it on a different wireless network in case there was something wonky with mine, still no dice! Im bamboozled!

That's crazy... Try restarting your Switch if you haven't already.
Also, you might be able to just buy it on their website if you can't get it off Switch.
I know this has been mentioned already but the eShop really needs an overhaul. Names of games aren't displayed on the header images and once theyre out of the rotation on the main page the only way to find a game is to search for it by name. I like the simplicity of the design but making it harder for people to browse the games available is not good.
Already done, haha, I feel like I have tried everything at this point. Did it in handheld mode, and on the TV. Im not sure what else to attempt, seems way too complicated for such a simple issue.

When you enter everything, what are you pressing? I think I had this issue. Turns out I was pressing the wrong button. I think you're supposed to press (+) ?
