NO Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 on Switch 2 at launch!

😡😡😡

Maybe it will come eventually but let's not forget the staggering amount of games that will not come to switch 2 just like the last several cycles. Unless 3rd party games don't matter in the isolated world in Nintendo fans.

One of the reasons Nintendo will continue to get lapped in terms of the gigantic amount of games they are missing.

But...the binding 10 years legal agreement! "pie_tears_joy: 🤷‍♂️
Nintendo should sue for extra drama but they're probably too busy counting the money.

Imagine buying the Black Ops 7 game key card for $80 and it takes up 80% of your switch 2's internal storage because Slacktivision doesn't believe in lowering storage amounts their games take.

It's odd because Blops 7 is still getting a PS4/Xbox One version. So if anything this game should be easy to get running relative to future titles. I mean if anything it will get harder after this.

Makes me wonder if Microsoft is rethinking what supporting Switch 2 for 10 years actually means. Maybe that just port Warzone and support that for 10 years? Porting older cods instead? Cloud version?

Have they been refused a devkit? Do they just pay fine to Nintendo or the regulator for not providing it?

It would be interesting to see the terms of this agreement.

Dat unprecedented commitment and binding partnership tho, crud news for our fellow ultimate gafer GigaBowser :P

I wonder, since they are not doing that, can MS be fined for flat out lying .. I really hope they do lol.
I am sure there are plenty of loopholes in whatever they signed. They also were forced to give the streaming rights to Ubisoft - and thats nowhere to be seen either.

Blame Nintendo for releasing yet another subpar console with two-gen old tech after this commitment was made.

The issue with that is the fact that they stood up in court and said there was no technical reason why COD couldn't run on the original switch.

Wasn't there some rumor leading up to the S2 reveal that Nintendo was pretty stingy who got devkits?

Something like 3rd parties would not even get a DK until like June of this year?

Correct.

A reliable source has claimed that new Nintendo Switch 2 games are not being announced due to a dev kit delay.

The Nintendo Switch 2 is already out, and players are now waiting for an announcement on new games for the console. Recently, we learned that a Nintendo Direct is reportedly scheduled for later in July, where we may learn more about upcoming games. The same source has claimed that one reason for the delay could be that developers are not receiving Switch 2 dev kits.
