And most of those are hardcore Nintendo fans looking only for Nintendo first party. Why have we been getting cross gen games till now when PS5 has over 80 mil installed base? In the end its not just about the number, they probably tried, looked and played like shit compared to modern consoles. Whats the point of even releasing something brought down to potato mode? Look at MK1 on the switch, it did nothing for sales and all it got the company was memes and ridicule. The bigger problem here is Switch 2 released just a couple of months ago and ALREADY third party are like yeah fuck this, we dont wanna waste time with this low hardware because they are finally all switching to current generation only and Switch 2 falls more in the last gen category tech-wise. At least Switch 1 held its own for a few years before third party games started looking like crap compared to X1/PS4. Switch 2 right out of the gate is having WiiU third party problems and this thing is projected to be out there for another 6 years lol.

I think it;s the dev kits thing. SW2 runs cybper punk pretty well compared to the ps4 gen. That alone should tell you the system is capable. Also everything this gen has been for the most part cross gen, all of that can run on the switch 2.

Most adults buy Switch not as their primary platform or buy one for their kids. I know of 6 people (including me) who fit that bill.
