LMAO, that reminds me of the Christian Rock band episode of South Park where Cartman, Token, and Butters meet a Christian rock band trying way too hard to look "hardcore and intense" but instead come off as cringe.

I can relate as being formerly religious due to my upbringing I listened to that shit and yeah now I think most of the music sucked. There were a few standouts I can still enjoy even today despite no longer being religious per say, particularly the older songs of Newsboys who had some real bangers. Hell, they even had a straight to video movie about them joining the circus that was corny as hell but I still enjoy it.
