I still haven't seen Spectre.
Hated Casino Royale when I first saw it, warmed up to it with later viewings. It's not my fave but I like it now.
Hated hated hated Quantum when I first saw it and have yet to give it a second watch.
Loved loved loved Skyfall since my first viewing.

I hate how as the movies progressed with Craig they have become too actiony. The reason why I love casino royale because it has that agent/spy feel with a mix of action here and there. Its why I honestly prefer mission impossible movies because there are slow moments with amazing set pieces but also doubles down on the agent and spy moments which drive the movies

Starting off with a strong grounded movie, and then it's getting all silly gadgets and shit. (okay, Moore has always been silly and gadgets).
Also, Skyfall is the TLJ of Craig Bonds. There I said it.

I'm gonna watch it mainly for the visual spectacle and then wait for next summer when they release the ultimate cut with better sound mixing and more.emphasis on storytelling rather than just the action.

Looks average. Spectre was super corny and stupid, this seems like a continuation of it. Current Bond producers have no balls at all, constantly shifting direction. They had a very clear success with Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace (amazing movie that was just too good to be appreciated), but they got scared when some people complained and turned Bond into a weird Dark Knight clone or something with boring Mendes direction. Then brought Spectre back even though Quantum was already basically Spectre.

I'm not a fan of every Craig movie being a direct sequel to the last, whilst retconning the previous at the same time (Quantum is behind everything! Just kidding it was Silva! Wait, no! It was actually you're long long brother who you forgot about?). Spectre is the worst Bond movie ever, imo. This being a direct sequel to that is off-putting, but these trailers look fucking great!

That isn't due to the soundsystem, I have seen it 5 times across 4 different cinemas including 2 imax screenings, audio mixing was shoddy across the board.
It is just the way Nolan likes to do his sound mixing nowadays, he has done this since TDKR.

I only needed a video for the very final act as it just moved way too quickly for my brain to comprehend.
My only issues with the film were the mixing, pacing at the start and exposition dumps, shit felt like the tutorials in Death Stranding x100.
However the film was great enough overall for me to not be too pissed with it, Nolan mixes his vocals down solely to get people to watch a second and third time I am sure lmao.
