I guess I’m not seeing the problem because I highly enjoyed GotG 1 and 3. 2 had good clippable moments but as a full package it didn’t feel all the way there.

Isn't it bizarre that the director has to actively point out that a face is in fact not digitally altered? If faces look weird and warped because of wide angle lenses up close then why would you use them? The shot looks weird and uncanny valley-esque instead of grandiose and epic.

Why would you do this if it looks weird? Losing my mind over this, lol.

The dad bod from the angle of this shot is wild I couldn't have shot this worse if I tried and I know fuck all about filming. Gunn is pissing me off I don't think I've ever wanted a film to tank but I'm getting close to changing that and I'm not even a superman fan.

No gray hair though so that is a win for him.
