The Welcome Tour game disagrees.Ready to drift?
Unfortunately it seems the Joycon 2 has the same quality level and internals as the Joycon 1.
Please, discuss.

Yeah it's looking like all they did was add Lube, NOT JOKING!
For example, the rumble is completely different to S1. It's a weight on a spring moved back and forth by magnets. What does The Welcome Tour say mate
Hmm. That's interesting. Well, I hope they are improved for sure. For example, the rumble is completely different to S1. It's a weight on a spring moved back and forth by magnets.

I am saying it's good considering it's IPS.
I'll be edgy for a joke, it is worth that.He said that you could understand it by reading his offtopic post, his post about him dealing with it?
People are only on edge cause you are trying to be edgy and funny while forgetting how to read, but hey atleast you arent uncool like those purple lamers amirite bros?
My bad i read the post wrong and went straight for something i found funny. Thanks for telling me without the condescending toneNo, but i did read his own words about Alcohol Related Brain Damage that he's suffering from
|OT| Community Science Thread 'my journey with ARBD'

Alcohol-related brain damage (ARBD): what is it and who gets it?
Alcohol-related brain damage (ARBD) is a brain disorder. It is caused by a person regularly drinking too much alcohol, or binge-drinking, over several years. There are different types of ARBD. People who get ARBD are generally aged between about 40 and 50.www.alzheimers.org.uk

How much did they really spend? I haven't had mine repaired I just bought another set. These things are now 95 for a set or something. The margins are high and probably cover a massive class action suit if needed.I find it hard to believe that Nintendo would lack the brain power to put themselves in a position where they spend a fuck ton of money having to repair/replace Joycons after what happened with the Switch. I'd assume that they would make enough changes to the controller to help prevent drift as much as possible. Time will tell I guess.

I badly read his post and did not understand he was refering to his off topic posts. My bad.
As usual, relaity is far less funny than what i made of it... I'll recover.
But you seriously saying people are on edge on switch 2 threads because of my antics and calling anyone else edgy with an username like that, this might be too much bad faith and cringe for me. If i die it will be on you lethal n°1

So.
A) Not true
B) Joy-con drift was resolved starting with the Skyward Sword Joy-Con (summer 2021) and onward when Nintendo modified their process to eliminate it as much as possible.
A)If the pictures posted are true, than these are the same sticks - you are just looking at them from different angles and can't form a 3d model in your head (shame btw).
B) They never fixed anything, the use the same sticks across all switch models.
Source?. They made other changes within the Joy-Con internally that help mitigate the risk of drift from happening. Obviously the actual sticks themselves are the same.
Yeah it's looking like all they did was add Lube, NOT JOKING!
And then presented it as if it were a fact. Why even link to Reddit in the first place?I am using the Switch 2 as we speak and you're right mate.
The JC definitely feel improved. But, I just posted these Reddit threads before I got the console.
A 2,000 post poster should know how to make an honest thread. That includes your OP and your post below. And by the way, a 90$ controller should have HAL. That includes the JC AND the Pro Controller.
90 (!!!!) $
I love how you go from your own experience to ''Well, looks like i was half-right after all!''So, I guess my OP wasn't so "untrue" after all.

Nintendo Switch 2 Joy-Con’s will still drift, but it may be impossible to fix - Dexerto
Nintendo is already offering replacements for the Switch 2 Joy-Con 2 amid stick drift worry with the new controllers.www.dexerto.com
TronicsFix has made two videos, one opening the Switch 2, and one opening a joycon. It is a fantastic channel, strongly recommended.
The internal design for the sticks looks indeed quite close to the original, and his conclusion is that drift will most likely happen as well. He suspects this choice might have been forced by the presence of the strong magnets to hold the joycon, making hal effect sticks inappropriate.
Jokes aside. HAL effect joysticks are not free from having issues and it's NOT a new tech as some people think… The big issue for the Switch 2 joycons was going to have using this kind of tech (HAL effect joysticks) are the micro magnets that this tech uses, they are too sensitive to magnetic fields and guess what the Switch 2 have really close to the Joysticks… Two big and strong magnets. Like Evilore said, give time to see if the new design solved the Drift issue and please stop spreading false information, also NO controller including the HAL effect ones are free from drift.
