I was at the London ROH show last night, we were meant to get Bucks vs Briscoes in singles matches, but as Bobby Fish couldn't appear for unspecified reasons we got the tag match instead and it was suitably insane!



Because it was Dragon Lee vs whoever's the TV champion - Fish lost it to Ospreay, Ospreay lost it to Scurll and neither Will or Bobby got their rematch so I guess they made it into a 4-way.

We had a bit of community push behind BritWres, but it seems to have cooled off to a core bunch. Harder to discuss at length in a big general thread, but you need the big general to get stuff going *shrug*

ICW is on the list this week, and hopefully the ROH York Hall show makes tape somewhere easy to watch...

I just wish Austin would admit hes never coming back.
Right now he's out of shape and probably scared shitless that he can't deliver 1997 Austin work in a ring.

Not to mention he knows how Vince would script him into being a bitch. Just like Sting.

Goldberg right now is the exception because he probably insisted to not work with HHH or a McMahon.

If that does happen I honestly expect Bill to quit.

The only way to truly be a main eventer is to have a merch machine that they desperately need (Cena, Usos, New Day soon) or be willing to walk out the door if they even try to fuck you over on dates/money/or Shit booking (Brock, Goldberg, Rock,

Otherwise you have a room full of 30 brown-nose writers thinking that if they script a storyline where Steph claims to have saved children from dying and personally helped the Guerreros with job employment then you are gonna get fucked.

Right now the companies creative is designed around pushing Talent that Vince doesn't have to worry about leaving (His Family, His Wannabe Son, "the brand").

Meanwhile when they try to fuck around somebody like Brock he shows up that week at a UFC fight.

You have to be willing to bet on yourself like Cody Rhodes though in his case its clear that he just isn't talented enough to make it on his own.

Strange that Final Battle was on the FloSlam schedule but now isn't...I'd assume that it'll be on tape delay or something and they're waiting until after the PPV to properly announce it. All things considered, with a kinda underwhelming card, there's no way I'm dropping $35 on this.

That's actually really good, love the woop woops in there too.

That Scurll/Osprey match was incredible at ROH last night. That was my first show I've watched since the CZW feud ten year or so years ago but had so much fun there that I'm going to order Final Battle.


Edit - 35 dollars though? With our shit currency at the moment? Maybe not then!

I wonder if they're heading towards some Cena/Nikki vs. Miz/Maryse business at the Rumble to tie in with the Total Divas storyline.

Seemed like a waste to knock Nikki out of the Survivor Series match solely for Carmella or Nattie's benefit.

yes they are, he's the "real fighter" in a company full of entertainers, he's the big scary beast that might actually kill(hyperbole don't take that seriously) the opponent and his matches can end at any moment. And only Bork can sell something like that because he actually looks like he might snap and hurt someone.

Well, they could speed up the Asuka story from now. She becomes too arrogant for her own good and sloppy, loses because of it and gets furiously mad. But I doubt it, sadly. That Nakamura and Asuka staying in NXT rumour is depressing.

I don't see how anyone can watch Undertaker vs Brock and say it wasn't booked like a 'shoot fight' whether it was believable or not is another matter but it's as fake shoot fighty as you get. It's like a bad UWF-i parody match.

suzuki vs sakuraba that is a shoot like match, none of Brock matches are anything like that . I mean outside of like one match all of Brock victories ended in a f5 .

People legit thought Brock went into business for himself and gave Taker a shoot pin and Vince was so aware that he might do it that he had a 21-1 graphic prepared for it. It was as shoot disguised as a work as it can be.
