I wasn't a big WCW guy back in the day but Sting and Goldberg were basically guys who would make me switch over to WCW. Sting, Goldberg, Austin, and Rock were basically guys who transcended any kind of pro-wrestling fanboy battle lines.

Funny thing is if they did another Rock vs Goldberg after their last match 13 years ago it would have insanely more hype than it did back then.

Is Neogaf.com working for anyone on PC? I'm beginning to be curious if my work blocked Gaffney during the down time. It works on Mobile but now on any browser on PC.

Brock doesn't need any more mystique enhancement. The story going forward can be that Goldberg came back way more prepped than anyone expected, and Brock underestimated him because Brock bought into his own hype. It's less for Lesnar and more for continuing to do something different.... The return squash sets up a Mania match way better than just dragging this shit out IMO.

Plus it makes the series 2-1 instead of 2-0 going into Mania.

Also disagree that Lesnar hasn't done anything since Wm 31, his 2016 Rumble appearance was awesome. The build to Ambrose vs Lesnar was great even if the match wasn't amazing.

I was a mark for their mid card and lower mid card... Jericho, Benoit, Malenko, Raven, Saturn, the Cruisers, Disco Inferno... their mid card was godly

Only main eventer I really liked was DDP well and Bret but they never used him right. His cat smokey promo though is epic.

In the backstage segment after, she was actually pretty upbeat about Sami's defeat.
I hope SZ goes to SD as the Miz-dominated midcard needs genuine opponents (not Ziggler) but I think he's going to rot on RAW a while longer.

Yeah, if anything even the idea of this is insulting to the fans who had to sit through the Mania Dean match. Even a shoot kickout would have been more exciting than that by the books trash that lasted 15 minutes too long on a show already 7.5 hours too long

Seeing too many people who are too far up their own "smart fan" ass on twitter to appreciate the match last night. Brock didn't get damaged, there's still every opportunity to "give a young guy the rub" (lol what a stupid phrase), nothing but good came from last night's squash victory. Now the playing field is open and there's no albatross around the Lesnar characters neck

There's not many UK indie fans here unfortunately, there's me, Flammable, Klonere and maybe a couple of others. The Liverpool show looked pretty good on paper, how was Dalton vs Marty? Seems like that would've been an interesting match. ICW's not really my thing, but it was crazy to see them pack 6k into the Hydro, huge achievement.

I was at the London ROH show last night, we were meant to get Bucks vs Briscoes in singles matches, but as Bobby Fish couldn't appear for unspecified reasons we got the tag match instead and it was suitably insane!

Because it was Dragon Lee vs whoever's the TV champion - Fish lost it to Ospreay, Ospreay lost it to Scurll and neither Will or Bobby got their rematch so I guess they made it into a 4-way.
