There's some great stuff on there, with guys like Buddy Rogers, Verne Gagne and Lou Thesz in their prime. The Edouard Carpentier vs Lou Thesz match is real good, Carpentier was crazy smooth and it's interesting seeing Thesz playing a chickenshit heel.

You got Ignorant, Clearly-From-Oklahoma, Diet Racist JR on occasion. You got Jerry Lawler and Brian Christopher being horrible to Mexicans. You got Vince McMahon for putting this trash on TV and probably being a key racist idea man.

Oh, Roddy Piper back in the '80s was pretty bad. Not sure it was ever meant to be racist or malicious, but he totally was.

You're right. He was horrible. Talking about selling tacos and enchiladas and stuff. And Heenan probably said stuff, too. Makes me sad, because the delivery is great -- and it's one of those "is it okay since they're heels?" moments -- but it's still wrong. I hate myself when I find it entertaining.

Angle lays his whole background out in the open. And by that I mean everything.
His real dad was an alcoholic who died when he was 16. His father figure after that, his coach Dave Schultz, was murdered by a legally-insane DuPont (the story of which was portrayed on film in the 2014 Foxcatcher starring Steve Carell, Channing Tatum and Mark Ruffalo). His sister OD'd on heroin and died. His mom died of cancer last year. His brother David this year pled guilty to killing his wife. And his two best friends in the business were Eddie and Benoit, and I'm sure we've all discussed what happened with each a lot of times.
Basically every time he thought he was in a good enough emotional state to stop taking (or at least lessen) the crazy amount of drugs and painkillers he was on at any given time, something else happened and he took a lot more to cope. Legally, I don't know how the fuck you can take all those pills and still maintain a pulse.
