Watching the latest episode of TS. Who gives talking points to Daniel and Renee for Talking Smack?
They're literally saying the creative team for RAW has no idea how to book the cruiserweights lmao
It's like WWE is aware of their shit but don't do anything about it.

Sometimes I wonder is Talking Smack is a very elaborate work, they're telling us what we want to hear and as a result we love the smackdown.

Vinny Mac having a right chuckle I bet.

I think Bryan just says what he wants. What are they going to do, fire him so he can go wrassle?

Oh, The Rock vs. Test and Stephanie McMahon in the main event? And Stephanie is doing commentary at the beginning of the match?

No wonder 9/11 happened the next day.

Too soon.

The WWE Network app for Android doesn't allow screenshots and that's just no good.

I'm watching the same Raw Zach is and Cole just made a pretty great face after being insulted by The Rock.

Have you guys seen the TLC PPV commercial thing on the Network? It's like a weird, low-quality, looped gif of Dean Ambrose going through a table. So strange.

The longer version of the commercial is emojis hitting each other with chairs.

Vince McMahon cutting a promo on terrorists at the open of this post-9/11 Smackdown.

There are like 45 matches on this show.

Insanely papered if that's the real number, doubt it though.

I'm gonna say it was around 4.5k, maybe 5 at the most. Still extremely impressive regardless.

I passed out during Uncle Jun and Dragon Soldier B vs. Get Wild, which proves once again that Kendo Kashin sucks.

I woke up after the intermission. Need to go back and watch Nomura/Nomura.

It was a show, I really liked what I saw but I'm not sure if it was good???

Never seen Backlash 2003 so I'm giving it a look and boy this backstage scene with Test and Torrie was pretty dang uncomfortable, Test confirmed for super heel.

I actually came to post about both of these, the first is just "what?"
The second I can't decide between being bad or actually kinda great.

I've decided to skip forward to Scott Hall's debut in my Nitro run through. I can't take Cunt Hogan and the Dungeon of Derp any longer.

Forgive me Data West and Zach.

That Punk gif reminds me that I follow Mickey Gall on Twitter now. I don't usually watch UFC but he fights some dude in a couple of weeks on free tv so I'll prolly watch it.

I love that the 500th match that I watched this year was Chavo Guerrero Sr., Dory Funk Jr., TAJIRI & Ultimo Dragon vs. Isami Kodaka, Osamu Nishimura, The Great Kabuki & Yutaka Yoshie.

Huh, it's Onita-neko.

no one likes 95 wcw

not even me

Look at these weenies.

I think I like Schavontay and Zbyszko a bit better than Bischoff/Heenan/Mongo.

Can't tell. Too early.

Maybe not Heenan.

Schiavone is great for a long while. Zbyszko is good when he's not being a sexist weirdo. WCW Heenan is still the best early on, even though he's not quite WWF amazing. Mongo is occasionally entertaining in his inanity. Bischoff is usually a douchebag.

I appreciate that Naito has single handedly resurrected and perfected the tornado ddt

I thought shitters like Crash Holly ruined that move forever.

Chris Jericho saying he wishes he was in the rubble helping out in NYC. Okay, dude. Maybe you should go then.

Oh god, it's Michael Hayes.

WWE in the early 2000s always gets praised as this era of WWF where the roster is insane and it's the best and the fans are still popping huge.

but to me, i always found that era so boring. it just felt like they had this massive roster and none of the writing to go with it. i was already done with rock's shtick at that point, austin wasn't the badass wrestler/character he was in 96 or 97. he was going from catchphrase spewing face to a heel that was never going to get a ton of heat even at his absolute worse. in a way to turn heel for austin that felt cheap and not natural. triple h is the least captivating wrestler alongside compatriot jeff jarrett, the invasion angle shat the bed on arrival, kurt angle had the title but he was booked like a complete goof, the shine on the radicalz was gone within a month, undertaker was transitioning to his shitty american badass and hadn't got to his goat mode, big evil. the hardyz, e&c and dudleyz stuff was shocking.. the first time you saw it. e&c were the only ones that could cut promos so once the newness of dudes goign through tables went out, you lost interest. Kane as always boring. But now instead of being protected and boring he was just boring and boring. He had no fangs. Foley was an afterthought. Vince was just doing the same shit that was old in 99.

they had the cruiserweight title but all they had was kidman. they wouldnt have rey, uiltimo or psicosis unti la couple years later. and kidmans the worst of that crop.

Agreed. I felt that 2000 was the start of the transition of what we see today. Catchphrases galore, moves like the Worm, everyone HAS to hit all their spots in every match etc
