Told you guys not to underestimate Hardline, Battlefield did fantastic, over a million in March of all months
Well damn thats way more sales for BFH than I thought were gonna happen. Uggh thats depressing. Was kind of hoping name wouldnt carry it to success so that we could get some encouragement for publishers to stop doing yearly franchises and put some new IPs out. Clearly that ain't happening
Exactly. 50K+ in Feb, and another 50K+ in March. That's a lot of legs for a little ball.
3D World? Tropical Freeze? ZombiU?
plenty of people were like "lol it's nowhere on Amazon" combined with expecting it to match BF4 for some reasonWho did this? I don't get what's surprising. It's on 5 platforms.
More surprising is BB sales and everyone who thought it was going flop. With digital sales it's probably over 400K.
I think this is funny:
Sales:
Battlefront > 1million
BB < 390K
yet official thread posts on NeoGaf
Battlefront ~2K
BB > 38K (doesn't include all the pre-launch threads)
Honestly got rid of the most of the details... TF > 100K, 3D World > 200K, ZombiU was like 50K?
I'm mostly interested in 3D World vs. Mario Party tbh. It's gonna be sad if Mario Party had a bigger debut than 3D World.....
Monthly and LTD
Wii U: 85k (assuming)
Xbox One: 236k
PS4: 340k
Monthly and LTD
So using 82.5K for Wii U:
PS4 330K
XB1 229K
WiiU 82.5K
If the numbers mentioned are what is expected, I did good this month on Predictions wooot

Let me ask a stupid question real quick. Do the console makers directly profit from a copy of a 3rd party game being sold? For example, if I go buy a copy of Battlefield on PS4, does Sony take any of that 60 bucks?

We went back and forth, but I think I win?
Wii U (12.87%) = 80K-85K
XB1 (35.70%) = 222K- 235K
PS4 (51.43%) = 320K- 339K

You done eating the hat Chobel?

Isn't there some kinda of rule for PS+ games that they should have more than 70 in metacritic?
Nope. Did 220K in November. Nintendo even gave PR w/ that # and everyone was like "Why? That's terrible". Hit like 500K+ by December iirc (so another 300K+).3d world first month was around 500k iirc
XB1 did worse than 3DS and way down yoy.
An other shitty prediction month for me, it's becoming quite difficult, trends are erratic.

Why 82.5k for Wii U?
??3d world first month was around 500k iirc
Congrats on being right about Battlefield brand carrying the game I guess. Amazon sales certainly painted a damning picture and honestly I think it would've been a kick in the pants for publishers if it had sold like an add on instead of a numbered entry in the series. I find the fact that a glorified add on sold over 1 million copies based of brand recognition to be pretty damn depressing myself.

Naw, 3rd
It is ~720k...I didn't know the gap between ps4 and xbone were so close. Wow. Sony dropped the ball by not dropping the price during the holidays.
