Nvidia is the World's First Four Trillion Dollar Company

Always pisses me off for never investing in tech stocks in those mid late 00 years or early 10s years. Literally tech stocks only go up.

I ran some numbers on gpt
$10,000 in 2012 would have got you 4million today. What's 10k?

10k in 2017 would get to 1.3 million

At the end of 2020 I was fortunate enough to get a large sum of money from a family death. I used it to buy a house could argue smart .
That money would have got me 10 million in Nvidia.

I mean they have a defacto monopoly on what is potentially and arguably the most significant technology in human history.

I think going into the mid 20s that tech stocks boom is over.

Unless some new actual tech comes out that starts off small the takes off.

Nah, still plenty of great opportunities out there. My portfolio reached seven digits last year largely because of the AI boom. This year I'm still playing a lot of AI options while slowly building a position in quantum computing.

That is an impressive amount of money.
Imagine in the early 90's, Jensen going around, trying to convince investors to support the creation of a company that made graphics cards for games. Fresh out of AMD, not much money, no experience presenting investor plans, a book on it, that he never finished, and a dream.
Several investors didn't care much about such non-sense. But some believed in him, but I bet no one at the time would ever imagine he would create the first 4 Trillion dollar company, in the world.

Nvidia has got me by the balls come every 4-5 years for that big GPU upgrade (4090 owner).

But Four Trillion Dollars is insane. Let's see that money get spent to good use.
