If the 970 is like the 5850 then the price is going up soon.
this is gonna be $2000 in Uruguay
trucking along with the 2GB 680
Really? It seems to look very appealing in performance/price compared to the 780ti's I've been eye balling.
Both link to the EVGA card. >.>
It's also nvidia shunning that gamer. It could be cheaper but they price it like that because they can, sadly.
Looks like a good way to go.970 SLI review from techpowerup:

Seems like the way to go for $660! Performance per dollar and performance per watt are off the scale.
970 SLI should see most people through the entirety of this generation if you game on a single screen below 4k.
Can't argue that.At least it's not $1000
970 is betterHow does the 970 compare to the R9 280x? In the market for a card but AMD looked to have my price range locked down ($350ish). If the 970 is on par or better I'll definitely get that.

The EVGA looks to be a tad loud.

Dumb question, but what is maxwell? I have an X79 motherboard, i7 3820, and a 680. Wondering if I can upgrade to a 980 without buying a new mb
So is it normal to test 4k without AA? Like do you just not need it at that resolution, or is the performance hit just too big?
My 670 is good. I'll just keep telling myself that...
Oh man does the 970 look good!
Btw Nvidia just release a new driver on their site. http://www.nvidia.com/Download/Find.aspx?lang=en-us

The reviews are out.I'm eager to see how it (980) stacks up against my 780ti.
This better fix Dead Rising dammit.
For the SLI reviews, I'd highly advise sticking to PCPer. They have frame time data for all of their benchmarks, which is FAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAR more informative.
really tempted by the 970. currently with a 660.
Possibly the fastest card available yet it can't play WatchDogs 1440p/60 ultra settings. When were we going for 4K gaming again?
Yes, reviews are out.Was hdmi 2.0 confirmed?
I've never bought a GPU right out of the gate. When/where should i be paying attention to grab one? I think upgrading to a 970 from a 7850 should be pretty good, right?
