I went through Crysis 3 on the Titan, Very High 2560x1600 at 2xSMAA. Was extremely playable, usually averaging in the 30s with some rare dips into the high 20s but I didn't really feel them -- had the FRAPS counter not been there I wouldn't of noticed.
Such a pretty game. Not as fun as the original though, think I'm gonna go replay that now.

Guys, how is the noise compared to a 690? In SLI I mean.
I wish these cards were less sexy. Hardly the only reason I want them, but it's there.

People have money, they can spend it as they please. Why compromise on your gaming experience if you can afford the very best?
It is cray but then you visit a car forum and people burn 20k on a pair of fucking rims.

I can't remember which show I saw it on, Top Gear or 5th Gear, but there was a guy on who had spent the price equivalent of a Porsche Boxster modding his Citroen Saxo. Amazing sound system and rims, but ultimately still a Saxo with a tiny, weak engine.
$300 FOR A GAMING MACHINE THAT CAN'T DO 1080P @ 60FPS LET ALONE 1440P LET ALONE 5760P, CRAY CRAY.

Also it has less VRAM.
My build is pretty much already complete, but when my cards get here I'll probably do a teardown, clean the rads and do some minor tweaks. There are some things that I had been meaning to buy that I never got around to -- braided cables, fan cable extensions, and some other stuff. When I bought my case (Danger Den Double Wide) I didn't take into account that EVERY wire would pretty much be exposed since the whole thing is clear acrylic. I'll take some pictures when the cards get hooked up, but I don't think I'll be at all comfortable with the aesthetics for awhile.
Also, I was thinking of switching from a dual loop (2x360 rads for GPU, 1 360 rad for CPU), and doing a split loop using only one MCP655 with all 3 rads, and Y splitting the tubing to CPU/GPU, and then Y tubing back before it gets back to the reservoir. Any thoughts on this? I think my MCP655 should be enough to maintain a decent flow, but I've never tried it before.

Why not just do a single loop with everything, no Y splitters? Way cleaner.

I figured temps would be better if I split the loop right after the last radiator, as each component would get freshly cooled fluid. A single loop would go CPU - Chipset - GPU - GPU, and that didn't really sound very efficient to me, especially since I plan on overclocking my Titans.
Ah, okay. Like I said I've never tried it before, but I remember researching some builds before I watercooled my first system (SLI 480s) and there were some people who were very convinced that a dual loop or split loop was more efficient in cooling components. Also, one guy was convinced that his GPUs would cool faster if his loop went in from the bottom, and out from the top, due to the fact that heat rises. I think his name was LethalHammer.

Yes it's quieter. Mine was making a lot of sharp intake noise initially, not sure if it's some weird thing out of the box or because a stray cable was getting sucked into the fan and causing the noise. Probably the latter.

I got a college degree, went to grad school, busted my hind-quarters at my job to get to a position that pays, just so I could do *stuff* like buy a $1,000 video card, just because I *bleep*ing could.

My Titan is so much quieter than my GTX 480 that I can barely believe it's the same computer.
Reading the news that it cost $1000 scared me away from the card. Now, I've been reading impressions and I was looking around online if any were available. I would be upgrading from sli'ed 580s

so this card isn't maxing out Crysis 3 at 2560x1600? I will need SLI TITAN for sure? how will my GTX 680 SLI perform then?

Titan as powerful as it is cannot max out Crysis 3 at 1080p, let alone at 1600p. At 1080p and with a pretty good overclock of +150 to the Core, +200 to the memory and every possible settings in teh game set to the max, the game averages around 30fps or so, of course some spikes up and closer to 60fps, but also times down to 19-20fps.
