It is cray but then you visit a car forum and people burn 20k on a pair of fucking rims.
My 690 beats it.
Pics or link to build log plz.God, this has been the longest week ever. Amazon says my Titans should be here tomorrow, and frozencpu says my EK blocks should be here on Friday. This is going to be a fun weekend.
Your 690 is dual GPU and suffers from all the downfalls of a dual GPU card.
$300 FOR A GAMING MACHINE THAT CAN'T DO 1080P @ 60FPS LET ALONE 1440P LET ALONE 5760P, CRAY CRAY.

I wouldn't quite say 'beasts'My 690 beats it.
Why not just do a single loop with everything, no Y splitters? Way cleaner. Also, I was thinking of switching from a dual loop (2x360 rads for GPU, 1 360 rad for CPU), and doing a split loop using only one MCP655 with all 3 rads, and Y splitting the tubing to CPU/GPU, and then Y tubing back before it gets back to the reservoir. Any thoughts on this? I think my MCP655 should be enough to maintain a decent flow, but I've never tried it before.

Maybe if you want to go by data that is derived from erroneous and extremely limited benches like second based polling. But then, you're kind of skewing the data.

The fluid stays the same temp no matter the location in the loop due to how quickly it moves. Even if you did something like three 580s right before a CPU, the CPU temp might increase by only 1C or so.
Guys, how is the noise compared to a 690? In SLI I mean.
I wish these cards were less sexy. Hardly the only reason I want them, but it's there.

No one knows what it means, but it's provocative. It gets people going.

Oh ... Oh I'm provoked now!
If this were 1000 years ago, I think people might be fearful of a provoked and angry Dane. Now? Not so much. What's cray? ...

Reading the news that it cost $1000 scared me away from the card. Now, I've been reading impressions and I was looking around online if any were available. I would be upgrading from sli'ed 580sreading this thread will make it seem like spending $1k cards is like the normal thing to do. this is a very very dangerous thread.
wow they go fast.
Yeah, no biggie. All the cool kids are doing it.reading this thread will make it seem like spending $1k cards is like the normal thing to do. this is a very very dangerous thread.
This thread is making me want a second hand 690![]()
I went through Crysis 3 on the Titan, Very High 2560x1600 at 2xSMAA. Was extremely playable, usually averaging in the 30s with some rare dips into the high 20s but I didn't really feel them -- had the FRAPS counter not been there I wouldn't of noticed.
Such a pretty game. Not as fun as the original though, think I'm gonna go replay that now.
so this card isn't maxing out Crysis 3 at 2560x1600? I will need SLI TITAN for sure? how will my GTX 680 SLI perform then?
Sli 680 performs better than the Titan...
