I'm glad you made that point. I'm still rocking a 460 and while it does me well for the most part, it is aging and struggles even with 1080p at times. Rather than throw another 460 in for SLI, I'd much rather get a 660-680. I'm more leaning towards waiting for Haswell and upgrading everything at once, though, but if the used prices on 670s drops big time I'd be willing to pull the trigger.
All the respect in the world for you guys that go for these high-end $500-800+ cards--I just can't bring myself to do it. A 670 new would be about as far as I'd go today, and I'd have to have a hell of a deal. The PNY 670 (reference cooler) has been as low as $260 after rebates, and the 660Ti has been under $200 too. If this card actually has decent stock, hopefully prices continue to drop in the new and used markets.
