I looked quite hard and couldnt find anyone saying MS and DF have an agreement to not show anything negative about xbox. Especially when you consider pretty much this entire gen has been negative xbox positive PS.

But if he took the time to understand if the PS5 has more reflection to calculate,
The frame rate would be lower.
The guy literally said the PS5 is doing more reflections,
Obviously the XBSX would have a higher frame rate if it's doing less RT calculations.

To me, the PS5 looks to be the more accurate, it may not be exact but at least it's doing more reflections.
Plus, how can it be wrong if RT is doing it?

Whoa, thats mega broken on ps5. The blinds are like 10 in from the glass max, but the broken reflection shows up like 2 feet behind them 
edit: the blinds are literally pressing against the glass therefor making ps5 reflections hilariously inaccurate.

Alex and myself shown pics of XSX with dual reflections matching pc
Alex confirming XSX and PC show dual reflections correctly. It's actually ps5 showing a bug with how far apart the 2 reflections are
I mean, thats what happens when you're an amateur youtuber pretending to be a "pro" and having the most enourmous hard on for everything sony. You rush to hilariously false conclusions where bugged and eronous rendering is "superior". The competitors console to the one you worship has a graphical bug in exactly one section and you say the entire game is like that. Touting the consoles "powah" when it runs the game at low and turned off settings and low resolution. Lower settings are "better" because they look worse which is ... real life like? Put all this together and you end up embrassing yourself, as if you needed extra help. Jeez

Ps5 isn't doing more reflections. XSX and pc has dual reflections the difference is ps5 has one way over offset apart

Try ps5 settings
. It's over 100+ with RT at 2560x1440 native res [3080], add DLSS and it's super smooth at 4k.
Now lets give credit to control devs, those 30fps ps5 settings look awfully similar to medium on pc.

But can you explain why DF bothered with showing loading results but didn't bother with sharing install sizes? Nothing about compression. Just zero information here. Why? SSD space and expandable storage were a topic of contention before the consoles released.
Why are they so selective?
At that scene XSX would be higher than 60fps too since it's locked

Give us a PC screenshots that have such angles so we can compare, so far seems PC has both farer than they should be = align good but doesn't mean accurate.

Compression and install size differences are nothing but conjecture at this time. You can say they are different sizes but can only assume as to the why which is the important part.

You're just proving my point here. To defend DF's bias when it comes to Xbox/PlayStation, you are trying to normalize it by saying NXgamer is pro PS5. Which means you know DF are bias, but you accept that.

So apparently Matt Hargett (ex-Software Engineer of PS5) agrees with Digital Foundry's and, by relation I'd assume, NX Gamer's use of Photo Mode as a benchmark. And it's true; some game engines will favor Series X's GPU design while some others will favor PS5's GPU design. I don't see why it's an even remotely controversial statement to make.
Granted, no one's playing the game in Photo Mode hence why it's an academic benchmark; hopefully whatever is causing the frame drops and microstutter on Series X when text crawls on the screen is fixed in a patch. But considering the porting team for this game was quite small, and that Remedy are focusing on Crossfire X, I doubt it'll get patched anytime too soon.
TBH the entire situation was stupid, but on both ends. It was a technical analysis thread on controller input latency, there is zero reason why it should've spilled off into covering Twitter rants and drama. If NX Gamer wants to be taken seriously as a professional he needs to know when to now go for the low-hanging fruit bait; ignore them completely and they will eventually get bored.
That said, it's just another example why ResetEra is a trash heap of a "forum" outside of a scant few quality gaming threads that pop up here and there, and I've noticed some of the posters I usually like reading posts from there have scaled back or stopped completely. Probably because they don't like the hyper-polarizing political atmosphere that manifests there in even innocuous gaming threads. Can't say I blame them whatsover.

You have a different view of PS4 gen that most of us.
DF always tried to make the Xbox One looks better including showing faked results.
They are the ones that created resolution is everything on PS360 and denied it on PS4/XB1 saying the 1080p and 900p differences were imperceptible.
There are some famous threads here in GAF about DF... the bias is not about PS5/Series but come from way before that... it peaked at PS4/XB1.

Nobody is accusing DF of lying. Honestly I think if you don't notice DF's bias, then you're pretty blind to bias in general unless it goes against your own bias.
DF isn't consistent in the way it presents and explores the data it gathers. This is a fact

I am pretty lax on DF compared to others, but the question is about making the Xbox look good/downplaying weaknesses of the Xbox one.
Heck, look at their old videos about Ryze son of Rome,the games runs at 26fpa and they say it's still smooth, the 900p scaling is great, nobody would notice, etc. Then they do the analysis of Killzone Shadow Fall and complain about the framerate thas is always above 30fps and some AA solution they don't like.
2020: 1800p is too blurry compared to native 4k, they don't care about constant framerate drops anymore, also they don't abother doing their own analysis anymore... Just ask the dev and run with it (asking the dev is fine, running with it is not).
The disparity in highlighting good points and downplaying the weaknesses on Xbox is always there, they won't go and tell you that the Sony console is trash, but they won't notice issues/bugs/limitations on Xbox.

Alex took a pic of a low quality reflection and think it dual reflection.

You xbox guys be blind when XBSX has missing reflections or low quality details.
If you look closely at the same very pic from Alex, you'll see XBSX still has no reflection from the glass.
It's like their is no glass there.
The only flection is the metal.
On PS5 you can see where the reflection from the glass changes the color on the metal.
Plus, the PS5 glass reflection has a sharp edge.
Where the hell is the reflection from glass changing the color on the metal on XBSX?
And there is no sharpness to say it has a reflection from the glass.

Yup, extremely annoying.
They got new prescription glasses now, because on high pixel density screens with modern upscaling technology they see every little detail now.
In the ps360 area they were completely right, most 3rd party games ran significantly worst on the PS3, had lower resolution, etc. I know I had a PS3 and up until the xbone reveal I was about to switch side (along a couple of friends, in the end nobody went with MS).
Anyway, that's when their take on the analysis became Alien, and it's gotten worse with the new generation.
