When the guy was dragging his ass to the ring with guardrail to try and save his partner, it was enough to make them face for this otherwise heel vs heel encounter.

Authors of Pain have a long way to go, but they are waaaaaaay better than they uses to be. This is why it's good to not call people up too quickly. They seem to develop better in NXT.

Originally AOP were supposed to be the faces, but on the house show loop people were reacting the opposite way, so they flipped it.

I've totally turned around on AOP. They were horrific when they started but every one of their matches has been great since then and they do big hoss moves better than anyone except maybe Braun.
