Even though the Package Piledriver is probably the safest variant of the move outside of the Tombstone, I would not be surprised if Kevin wasn't allowed to use it. On the other hand, IIRC he used the Pumphandle Neckbreaker in a promo, that would be a good compromise.

For the other matches, they should be good if not great. NXT events have always delivered and hopefully this will be no exception.

I will be shocked if they do let him keep it. The piledriver has been a taboo move for the WWE for awhile. They still allow the Tombstone variant, but that's it.

I'd be pretty surprised as well. Then again Balor hit a Brainbuster the other night and nailed Viktor with a Bloody Sunday on a recent house show so anythings possible.

Also everyone forgets on the preshow Corey Graves will have an announcement.

It will be most likely either he is cleared to wrestle again or he is going to retire due to concussions.

I wonder what finisher they let Hideo do. Sometimes he does the knee that Bryan took from him or a kick in his last match. So hope he comes up with one to use. Plus everyone should realize of all the big names he is going to be the one that needs the most time to get used to the Style change.

He has to learn english plus he has to find the right amount to kick his opponents so its either not to soft or not to hard where he blew out Daniel Bryan's eardrum with a kick.

he can do the steenalizer instead

That twisting brainbuster looked so good and so damn damaging, I can't believe Tyson kicked out of it.

He'd been really struggling with it until recently, being way too soft. On the latest NXT he seemed to find the sweet spot - they looked like they were connecting, and hurting, but nobody looked like they'd been killed.

Happy to see an OT thread for this.
I'm confident the WWE delivers a solid show tonight.
Goodness knows their paying customers deserve one.

I'm actually invested in this tonight, I really want Sasha to get the title tonight. I find NXT to be the most enjoyable product in WWE since Heyman booked Smackdown.

She's gonna make it!

There is a 1 Hour Devitt Documentary airing in Ireland next week... seems like it will focus alot on his final weeks in Japan. The same people doing the doc are the ones that did a very well received Conor McGregor documentary last year. Should be a good watch.

Trailer Here

Apparently Corey Graves' announcement on the pre-show (which is pre-taped) is
he's joining NXT commentary

Wow, Steen looks great. Has he debuted yet? If he's making that much progress out of the ring, holding him off until he's in his "final form" isn't a bad idea at all.

Is that Carnage?

top is carnage

bottom is carnage, venom, spawn and I dont know who the white tiger stripes one is supposed to be

Devitt is big into comics

that punisher one is BADASS

He wasn't great, but gotta feel sorry for a guy forced into retirement in his 20s.

I wonder what made his concussions so unique that he had to retire...Sad so see anyones dream being taken away by something they can't control. I wish him the best.

Probably like Bret Hart, it was giving him brain damage and wasn't healing.
Though Bret's problem was his concussion was undiagnosed and so he wrestled more matches with it and thus gave himself a load more concussions in the process.

I checked my ppv sports channel here in Portugal that shows live wwe ppvs to see if this was on, and theres wrestling on...

...its TNA Victory Road ;_;
