I did read the article and found it interesting that in other places:

http://www.nypost.com/p/sports/jets..._much_as_TX55EvX7VeeEnA3CZxyhTO#ixzz0zJa1nDPX

Or on Yahoo! News or in the Associated Pres, they describe what happened as "balls being overthrown so that balls would land near the lady and so that the Jets DBs who were practicing would have to pass by her".

I really would be more inclined to believe that version of the stohttp://www.neogaf.com/forum/newreply.php?do=newreply&p=23305945ry, because again - if *any* of these people even touched her in a quasi-inappropriate way, do you really think there wouldn't be immediate lawsuits for it? Do you really think the story wouldn't be much, much bigger than it currently is?
this should have been a "duh" point.

you'd have to be an idiot to think the Jets players would *run into her*. 200-300lbs men running into her would put her in a hospital. it's obvious they did things to get in her vicinity, including having balls lobbed over that way so they could retrieve them and talk to her or get a closer view or some shit.

these guys may not be the brightest stars in the universe, but they're not dumb enough to touch a reporter in any inappropriate way, much less grope.

Is she actually a reporter or an on air personality? I'm not seeing anything of her doing any actually reporting, just being on as eye candy.

This is modern "journalism". Eye candy for the camera. God I miss Walter Cronkite.

My my, someone is assuming a lot. My point is he is making generalizations which winds up making his post meaningless. But grats for paying attention. I am gay. gay gay gay

Why can't you have a good sense of humor and just laugh about your attention whoring ways? It's not that big of a deal so why do you have to get all butt-hurt about it?

No, I'm saying that an athlete physically harassing a reporter is not going to instantly result in a lawsuit.

It does if she feels harassed so much that she feels embarrassed/violated and publically states so...like when Joe Namath tried to get him some Suzy Kolber on air during MNF.

Am I an insensitive prick for thinking that when you pose for half-nude magazines that are marketed as basically masturbation material you forfeit your right to be insulted when people view you as a sex object?

I probably am

Kolber filed a lawsuit?

She is now saying that she never felt attacked

The Mexican reporter who claimed Jets players made inappropriate comments at her now says she "never felt attacked" by what happened in the locker room.

Knockout TV correspondent Ines Sainz claimed Jets head coach Rex Ryan, one of his assistants and some of the team's players allegedly pestered her with goofy, on-field antics and locker-room catcalls.

But in an interview with Mexican TV station DeporTV today, Sainz said she never felt offended and that the whole situation was taken out of context.

"In my opinion, I never felt attacked, nor that they reacted grossly toward me," she said. "I arrived in the locker room and there were comments and games. One of the other reporters came up to me and apologized for what was happening, but I thought [the players] were joking around."

well I'll take her word for it over anyone else.

being that this is about her.

it's not just about whether she was offended, the NFL might not like the behavior otherwise.

Yeah this makes sense that it was someone else that bitched. She is a female sports reporter making pennies and she is getting fawned over by millionaire athletes in elite shape (well most of them).

Edit: Well after reading all the articles it seems like initially she was trying to be an attention whore but is now trying to downplay everything.

That contradicts what she said earlier:

Was reading her twitter. She posted that she was dying of embarrassment while waiting in the locker room trying no to look at anything. Seems like she was trying not to look at any of the players.

none of the stuff she's seen wearing in any pictures presented in this thread would be classified as "inappropriate"...because they really weren't...but they're also not what you want to wear to a training camp full of guys who are practicing, playing and horsing around either if you don't want extra attention.

her gear might not have been "inappropriate" but you can bet your sweet ass she wasn't wearing a Burka. Tight pants that show off her ass and a fairly tight, low-cut blouse/shirt are likely. and that's not inappropriate...though perhaps that is if you don't want extra attention.

meh, if she showed up to practice wearing shit like that, I'm sorry, she's just asking for it. Not that I'm saying it's called for, but at least prepare some professional attire for, you know, your job?

This.

Lo siento pero ni de broma sacaria una foto de esto!! Si ni volteo!! Solo veo el locker de Mark y me quisiera taparme los oidos!!

She pretty much said that even looking at the guy's locker (Mark) would cause her to cover her eyes.

I think she meant "embarrassment" in a different way. "Avergonzada" because there where all these almost naked athletic men around her?

Didn't see that tweet. You could be correct sir, but I hope you are wrong because I'm a Pats fan :D

But they're football players man! They're not like you and me. For future reference, the following actions are 'protected'...

Homophobia - If you're a rapper.

Racism - If you're a boxer.

Sexual Harassment - If you're a footballer.

Print this out, laminate it and refer to it in future situations calling for outrage and / or offence.

Rough out there for you now a days huh?

Anyways I meant to say "cover her ears". That was what she said on the tweet.
Maybe she couldn't take all the "piropos".

Edit:

Would have loved "Bumping" into her on the subway over the weekend!!

Look, you white knights. There's no possible way she would have reversed her position after realizing that looking like a whiny female who can't hang with the boys and their innocent shenanigans might not be great for her career. It's simply inconceivable. Clearly the only reliable statement from her is the one where she says no big deal. Did I mention that you're white knights?

hey fuck off, you think the NFL is not concerned with whether this makes the league look bad? I'm not saying my opinion of anything, just that the NFL has greater concerns about this than most individuals would. If you think they wouldn't think about taking action about something like this then you haven't been paying attention to Goodell, or are an idiot, or both.

looks really fake. Like, not natural. In fact I think it makes her look deformed but then again it wasn't made for me.
I've never been a fan of disproportionate ass either, almost as bad as a pair of shitty fake tits.
