NYC GAF December Meet Up: The Pre-Christmas Sequel

It's cool duder, no problem. Have fun, bag yourself a bridesmaid while you're at it if you can, and happy holidays. This is probably gonna be a small outing from the looks of it. I don't anticipate doing anything crazy like the strip club two years ago, but more along the lines of keeping it simple like last year. The first meet up of next year will be in February but I wouldn't mind PM'ing/texting a few of you duders to do something small next month.

I don't see us staying at Barcade past 10PM (11PM) since quite honestly, playing the same old arcades again and again for 2 hours gets boring so I'll be looking at nearby places or just go with the flow as always. Let's dance tonight.

So here's the sitrep: I'm eating some patelitos right now and will be fashionably late lol. Also the mystery package is a lie. Good news is I'm dressed and all revved up to go. If someone who's down there, hold down the fort and entertain yourselves. Also provide a sitrep for the lurkers/latecomers.
Since no one showed up, here are a few pics I just took to show that I was here. I'm disappointed to say the least. I'm gonna head out in about an hour or so. If people want to postpone it to next month or February then it can be done but I won't be organizing it. I think many people forgot and this weekend wasn't the best weekend to do it on from the looks of it. Live and learn.

Ah shit, I forgot about it. I also got screwed over at work anyway. I clock out, and immediately had to clock back in because 1 last customer showed up to pick up his fucking car. I was just thinking about rushing home to work on my youtube channel and forgot about it.
I see a Knights of Valor 2 arcade machine though! WTF? It wasn't there last time!

Maybe we can have a gathering on New Years. It could be fun, and I got nothing to do this new years.
It's not the Chelsea Barcade; it's the new one that's near The Continental in the St. Marks Place strip. Here's a pic I just took (see above). This one has a crap ton more fighting games and 90s arcades.
Having left the area and done some more thinking. I've decided to postpone this thing to February 21st, 2015 so please make sure you're absolutely free that weekend. Expect a thread in the first week of January. If the interest isn't there then I'm going to can it. This was a bad weekend given the holiday shopping stuff going on. I might also consider making a small private thing next month if anyone is down but nothing too crazy. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year duders. Until then, stay safe.

If it's going to be February, you might as well wait one more month for Spring. The better temperatures would encourage more people to show up.
I'll think about it. PAX East is in March so that's something to take into consideration; a decent amount of money will be spent that weekend. Unless someone else volunteers to step up and agrees with you, I'm not going to budge on the date at the moment. You're welcome to vote on either February 21st or March after the weekend of March 6-8.
